係語文(英文及普通話)上授課嘅比例同情況有咩分別嗎? THANKS A LOT …

My daughter has got a place for IPN at Greenville (La Cite Noble) too.
As the teacher told me during interview, 2.5 hrs all English by NET and ~20 mins for PTH in int'l class (IPN). In mainstream class (EPN), half hr for Eng by NET, ~20mins for PTH and the rest for Cantonese.
But I was so disappointed by the English of the Indian teachers there...

Thanks for your sharing! My girl also accepted by them for IPN... but during interview date, I didn't see any Indian. Do you know how many Indians teachers are there and do they have accent? I'm very concern about this too...

Mainstream class will have 45 mins eng lesson everyday, not 30 mins.

In one of the sessions, there were 2 Indians and 1 Chinese in a room singing with the babies. Actually, I don't mind Indian teachers or any Eng teachers from other countries but their intonation was really weird!

Thx, BabyHilary. Is your baby studying EPN there? That'll be better if that's the case. The teacher just told me 30 mins every day. But in K1, it'll be increased to 90 mins.

My girl also accepted fro IPN, but I am still thinking if change to local stream one ( English class) as I have no planning for internationl primary school and I am afraid she can't communicate in Cantonese during her K1 interview at other school.

What's your idea and why do you let her to attend IPN? Thanks

My daughter is one of the pn applicants this yr.
I was told by the teacher that there will be
45mins eng lesson everyday, and also found such information given by Greenville parents at BK.

我選擇english class就係因為屋企以廣東話溝通,
如果學校用全英文, 屋企用廣東話,
對於語言基礎未穩定嘅小朋友黎講唔係太好,
如果將來打算讀int'l school又唔同,
但我決定比囡囡入讀傳統小學,
到不如讀english class, 以廣東話為授課基本語言,
學常規紀律同埋自理能力小朋友會比較容易明白,
另外每日又有英文同普通話堂, 兩文三語都兼顧到。

this is exactly what I was worrying about!! That's why I change my daughter back to local stream...
besides, I will speak to my daughter in english, I think her english will be ok eventually...

Yes, I agree with you BabyHilary. I'll change back to EPN if I choose Greenville at last.
I'm waiting for the interview at GF for EPN. I may choose that instead.

As I speak Cantonese+English to my daughter, I'm not afraid she can't communicate in Cantonese. I'm just worried she won't write Chinese well if she continues studying K1 to K3 in int'l class.

Haha, NO!  My daughter will have an interview at GF next Thu.  Actually, babies would for sure get the offer from GF/GV!
But I prefer Greenfield to Greenville after the interview at GV.  Though I don't like the Indian teachers' English intonation, the Chinese teachers at GV are very nice.
By the way, my daughter had interviews at Think (LC) last Fri and Hing Yan yesterday.  If she gets the offer from Think, that will be my first choice instead.  I really like the outdoor playground there.  The classrooms are very bright with the sunlight.  The NETs are REALLY NETs!
Which four are you waiting for?

不過am class一定full, 所以都係留位安心d!

尋日我囡囡都有去慶茵面試,
感覺真係麻麻, 課室, toilet, 枱櫈都好舊,
個個老師年紀都唔細, 或者經驗會好好,
不過比人感覺冇咩活力咁﹗

我仲有3間面試分別係衛理堂, 麗港城迦南同靈糧堂。

I also attended interview at Lam Tin Think on last Friday but we are still considering if accept their offer if they provide to us since it is not convenient to go there, even though we love the playground very much, of coz except taking the school bus.

Want to 8 8, you are also living in TKO? then how's to go to school (Think) in future?

If my daughter can't get the am offer from Think/GF/Hing Yan, I'll let her continue the playgroups instead.
I think the environment of HY is even better than GF! At least the indoor playground is bigger. Anyway, If she can only get the am offer from HY, I'll let her study N1 there then change for K1. But if she gets the offer from Think/GF, I'll let her be there for 4 yrs.

Yes, I think an outdoor playground is good for the kids for some fresh air.
I live in Hang Hau and I think my husband can drive her school and my helper brings her back by mini-bus and then MTR. Or I may join the school bus instead.
