我差不多報了7間幼稚園,你地呢?有無覺得收又煩唔收又煩,掂解香港教學制度甘煩,但你唔煩揾間好幼稚園,又怕影響小學+中學..

留位費.. 要睇timing喇, 最多留兩間.. 留咁多都無用, 心中有數~

I agreed ar!! My son is a 'small B' (Dec 07) and not willing to answer questions...But today he answered most of the questions so I am very happy even he can't get an offer from the school. It's his performance that make me happy!

咁有信心，一定二選一？

我就報8間，我現在係區內有兩個offer，應該兩間都會比留位費，但區外就會去in，但要好鍾意先比留位費，因為小朋友日日都要坐校車來回點都一兩個鐘，真係好辛苦！都重未諗定！

hahahhaha, i know, comparing to parents who wrote on this thread, we might sound crazy. since my boy is a 'small B', plus he's a very late speaker, he can speak reasonable amount of words, but very reluctant to use verbal language to communicate... would only talk to people when he's in very good mood; also he's very very moody, can be irritated easily.

That's y, we doubt if any school would take him...and so worried that our boy would fail all the interviews.....

therefore, we had applied 16 kinder; we've been to 8 interviews up to now.... yet out of surprise, we have got 2 acceptances, so we will skip some of the later interviews lu...

因到而家重1516唔知點揀好 ..

因我覺得小朋友既脾氣愈來愈臭 !!
好多人都話天主教kg 教小朋友教得好好, d 小朋友會變得好乖 ...
同埋我對所謂活動教學都有小小保留, 怕小朋友係學校無乜control, discipline 唔得 ..

都唔知點好 ....

hi HumptiDumpti,

My son is very similar to yours- super small B and late speaker although he's good at music and dancing. I was going to apply for 10 but I found it too tiring now. We probably will end up applying 6 to 8 depending on the first few results. So far he is accepted by 1 kindergarten after 1 interview. We've paid $1500 to hold he seat. We will have more interviews in the next few months. We may paid reservation fees for 2 to 3 schools and decide which one to go. It's bad that all schools release results at different times. I found it hard to decide which type of school to go too. :L

我同囡囡報左12間咁多呀! 不過有d撞時間所以可能in唔晒, 因為囡囡係細囡, 心儀個幾間大部份都係收大仔多, 所以唯有報多幾間做後備啦, 始終細囡表現真係冇大仔咁好, 我最驚係in晒咁多間都唔收咋!

I have applied 14 schools due my son is small son... so far a good one has accepted him already... I skipped most of the interviews.... will only choose some good one to go...

I think I will at most only pay 2 deposits... don't wanna waste money!!!

Yes, I will be very happy if I have a chance to pay the deposit...最驚個女幫我慳住d錢...

如果好彩0係11月有offer, 咁12月個d就唔洗in喇~~so far而家in咗4間 (0黎緊kv..), 有3間係我心水而且都係11月知result...如果有offer就安樂晒喇~~~

Not sure if I am lucky or unlucky, interviewed 6, 3 offers received & 3 pending for result (most likely fail).

Still have 2 to go this Sat, I hope I only have to pay 2-3 schools but most need to pay more until we get the result for the most ideal one.

Btw, after many searching, I "really" find each school has each speciality, it is really hard to choose ONE only.

I will at most hold one as back up and wait for the result of my most preferred school, if necessary. In my view, there is no meaning to hold too many places. Firstly, it wastes money. Secondly, it will hold up the places to be allocated to other kids. At the end, you have to make a decision, right ? Unless the timing of the announcement of the result of your target schools is really bad, I would suggest you may consider saving your money and limiting your options for "unjustified reasons". I believe, we should have our preference in mind in the very beginning. This is my personal opinion only.

報了九間,面試了六間,兩間待面試,暫時有四間取錄了,朋友也說我不用那麼誇張,那是因為我的是超小B,擔心學校不收,而且沒有一所能符合我的八/九成要求!

yeah, the more we ve learnt about each school, about their different specialties, the more difficult to make up our mind... cos no particular school is a 100% match, each might have its attractive features.

by now, we have done 8 INTERVIEWS, and received acceptance of the 3rd one today. I guess we'll cut most of the upcoming interviews lu (about 6 more, skipped 2 already)
