我發現D人一收到學校信就即刻上網講, 唔知點解女小出咗信,竟然仲未有人講.

應該是 REJECT　了．　雖然是預左, 不過真係有少少失落囉.

Maybe your daughter is straigt in. I know some school will classifiy applicants into 3 group. Gp A, straight in, Gp B-2nd interview required, then Gp 3-reject after 1st interview.

How many applicants have been shorlisted???

My daughter just have 2nd int. in cky... In the 2nd int. list about 1xx..the teacher said there are 6 classes ...that means the chance of acceptance is high...

I think, she is straight in to Group 3 - rejected !

We are not rich, not releated family. She is smart but not really that bright. I don't think she will be Group A - straight in.

Do the parent need to participate in 2nd interview ? Or...it's for daughters only ? My husband and I are on business trip now, but my maid doesn't have the key to open the letter box for us. Really excited !

Also received the 2nd round interview letter today. Nov. 2nd. Girl born in Aug.

Anyone knows whether parent will be interviewed? It says that only one parent is allowed to accompany the child.

Wah! I was so shocked when I got the letter today! My girl is the shy type and I thought she has no chance at all since she was just on waiting list of another school............ I m so proud of her already even she cannot get a seat at last.........

Moreover, we are not related and rich people..... so if they take this into account for the second in, we probably won't ve a chance........

Also got the letter today for Nov 2 second-in. Let's try to estimate # of candidates for second-in. Assume she can interview 10 students per hour. She can do maybe max. 80 students per day. So far we have people saying Nov 2, 3 and 9. Any one else got second-in appointment other these 3 days ?

My interpretation of Point 3 of the letter is that if your daughter is accompanied by parents, both father and mother can go in. If not parents, only one adult is alllowed.

I am aslo a bit surprised she've got the 2nd in. She is not from famous kindergarten. When she came out from first interview, she looked a bit tired and she was so reluntant to talk about what she did. We have no idea how she did. We were under the impression she has no chance. Anyhow, she has the ability to do well if she is motivated and at a good mode.

BTW, for the information we submitted, I don't think they can tell whether we are rich or poor. I tend to believe they prefer educated parents.

I guess Ms. Dai at least will give 10-15min per interviewer, so it is at most 6 girls per hour.

From another post, it said 150 girls were shortlisted for 2nd interview.
