Any comment about this kindergarten? Seems that ther are not much discussion about this kindergarten

你交咗表未呀?
我好鐘意佢安排交表時可以睇到學校同學生上課時的實際情況，見到幼班(k1)的同學見到有人參觀佢都冇分心上堂同去洗手間就知道老師平時真係教佢地教得好好同細心，你知啦有人小朋友點都會好奇。
k1都有課外活動在星期六上，最多3科，正連課外活動都5需要外上。
地方算大，而且聽完老師介紹就更正，好想仔仔可以入到。

When I tour around the campus, I see their students are very polite, the teacher will also remind them to say "good afternoon, aunties"... then I asked the teacher which is the "selling point" of their school, she told me that kids are very polite and learn how to respect others in general.

Be honest, they really "add marks" in my mind coz not many school stress on kids behaviour / conduct recently, thus I think this is the area they really do well. :)

Thank you very much for the informaion.

I submitted the form on 13/10 and also tour around the school - honestly quite like the teachers and the children are also polite (say hello and good morning to me!)

Because there are not much discussion about this kindergarten and so I am not sure whether this is a good school for entering.

My friend's kids are studying in this KG and so far their comments are very positive. There teachers are very nice taking care of the children and the kids enjoying going to school everyday. PB will be the 1st K1 interview for my daughter so just try our best!

我哋都好滿意呢個安排, 有充足時間交form, 有可以讓老師介紹下學校, 令我哋可以簡單了解. 尋日我老公去交form, 俾佢既印象好好, 校長同老師每一個都有笑容,禮貌. 不像其他幼稚園, 全mass production, 好短時間交form同收信. 完全唔會了解到學校環境.
不過在教育方面, 佢哋主要已中文教學, 而英文教學用比較少時間. 可能大家要諗下呢一方面.

Agreed - I like the arrangement of submitting the application form. For those famous kindergarten it seems that we need to "beg" giving us the application form.

sigh...my son is born on 12/07 so I am very worrying that no kindergarten will accept him (like the experience I had last year when interviewing the PN classess)

唔駛太驚喎，聽舊年d媽咪講，寶血interview好輕鬆，先俾你在操場玩一陣先輪流同父母(好似只可以一個父母入)一齊入課室，入到去會俾玩具小朋友玩warm up, 然後老師會加入同佢一齊玩，然後邊玩邊問關於玩具的問題，如：玩具的顏色，或叫佢俾個蘋果媽媽咁，然後就問下大人問題咁，應該唔係太難

Have asked the teacher if PB is a "One Dragon" school when I submitted the application form, they told me they are NOT one dragon school. So no guarantee that our kids can be promoted directly; but should be "more easily" la...

Hi,

My daughter is now K2 at PBK. Maybe I can let you know more about this kindergarten.

PBK is no doubt a happy kindergarten. The principal and teachers enjoy getting along with children so they always smile. My girl loves the teachers and enjoys her school life very much.

About English, it's simplier than some other famious kindergartens. But it should be no problem connecting to primary school because graduates of PBK have no problem in their famious primary school P1.

One point is, I personally think there are too many student in one class. My girl's class is 32. This year K1 class is 35. I trust next year K1 will be also around 35 because too many babies born. Heard that this year have around 9xx applicants.

The weak point of PBK is that there is no guarantee primary school. PB Primary is not "easier" because no marks add. However, "knocking door" is easier.

PBK have lot of activities ... busy school life!

Interview of PBK is easy. No difficult question asked. Just tell your children you bring them there to play! And, it's not difficult to enter PBK, don't worry!

Yes ar - but there are some schools (in particular for those eligblie for using school vouchers) have specific requirements that they will only admit babies born in year of 2007 and so my son have to apply for 2010 otherwise no hope to enter to these schools in 2011

Hi,我個囡囡剛剛於今年畢業,無可否認PB的確是一所給小朋友們讀得好開心的幼稚園.在畢業禮當日,我也不禁流下難捨的眼淚,連我老公都有眼濕濕(真是估不到!).
課程方面,PB的確比有名氣的幼稚園淺,所以我的安排是:K1全參加學校星期六的興趣班,K2-校內再加校外,K3-全校外(因要函接P1.)不過,PB的課程已經一年比一年深,因為我有同過去畢業生的媽媽及現在讀K1,2,3的媽媽聯絡.亦代表了PB不斷吸納家長的意見和不斷地進步!
老師方面:其實全校的工作人員都好好,上至校長,下至校工和校車司機.不過一定有outstanding既....i.e. 朱修女--名呼其實一名大細路,同小朋友玩埋一堆(佢無著修女衫架!)其次是舞蹈班的成老師,K1的江老師和K3的劉老師,蔡老師.
唉!實在太多好野la,不能盡錄.:loveliness:

我女兒去年考的時候...知道寶幼年尾出世的bb都收...
我相信個個小朋友去到寶幼都唔願走...因為太多野玩...佢地會比小朋友一邊玩一邊等interview...不過, 我個人認為...我一邊等一邊擔心...因為我女都比較遲考...我怕佢玩厭叫走都未考到佢...另外, 就係因為比較遲考...我女都玩到瘋狂了...老師問佢問題...佢完全唔正經答...又不斷跳...搞到老師都叫佢唔好跳...唉

我為了要阻止佢失控...連老師問我問題...(點解要選擇寶幼?) 我都答得唔好...結果...只收下午班....

hello everyone, I also applied PB for my son.
I got one question, it says only one parent can go into the interview room with the child, so does that means daddy no need to go?? because his daddy needs to take day off if neccessary, thanks all!!!!

and I am so worry my son will not answer any question coz he is so shy!!

我記得去年入課室等的時候只需要其中一位...因為孩子+家長太多人了!! 所以...或許你老公可以考慮不去....

啊~我有睇到今年K1分班名單,嘩!超級多人呀!6班開足,且4-5班over30個小朋友添.web-site 都有講,若多人選擇am or pm的話,會抽韱嘛,我想你的小朋友被抽到下午班

I also applied this school because I really love its environment. The teachers look very nice. Really "add marks" in our mind :)

It's good if your husband can go because he can also know more about this kindergarten. If he can't, it doesn't matter. The teacher will not count whether he goes or not. But, the teacher may ask your son where is his father.

No need to worry your son will not answer the questions. The teachers have their method to get the answer.

I remember my daughter paid all her attention in playing toys during the interview. The teacher asked her a few times, in different ways, then she can answer her question.

St. Paul's Primary Catholic School. For her, subject of Eng. & Maths. are OK. but Chinese is quite difficult for her fm the beginning (because of reading the article). Up-to-date, look like better.
Oh....she is very love go to school (I think PB had given her a best image). She's enjoy her school life although have dictation and 6-7 homeworks everyday.

我個女最後入左聖瑪加利大幼稚園...因為收佢讀上午班唔洗諗...
嘩!! 你囡囡讀聖保祿....這間就是我的target學校...不過, 唔知到時入唔入到...因為我唔係住12網...只靠首名+宗教希望第一輪就入到...不過, 出生率這幾年都上升...多人爭20分都唔知抽唔抽到...而且, 又話遲d轉全日...轉全日又會多左人競爭...因為宜家是一年上一年下...令有些家長不選擇...如果遲d真係轉...應該會多人選擇....

真擔心!!!

恭喜你喎!入到STMKG,如你的target是SPPCS你就無揀錯.今年有30個STMKG入到SPPCS而PB只得12個,無他既,PB有自己的小學,一定會拉低其他小學派位的人數.咁你有無考慮聖方济各呀?是全日的,聽其他媽媽講,等SPPCS轉全日?有排喎

多謝你的意見....其實我都有聽聞過聖方済各...不過, 我對這校的認識很少...而我喜歡聖保祿係因為我對它的認識比較多及深...而且有中學...如果轉全日是很久的事那就好了....

係呀!昨日IN.完都5知得5得，因為老師問亞仔野佢又5答，一味比玩具橙老師食同玩波波。
老師都有問佢平時係咪5講野，我答係!
我都知咁答可能有問題，但佢真係5出聲又5理老師。
而老師又冇咩野問我，只係講11月4日會收到信。
都可能冇咩機會。

佢地D問題唔係太難. 首先会問小朋友个名同幾多歲, 之后叫佢係地墊上攞起某樣玩具比老師.再叫佢攞某種生果比mami and 老師. 之后老師攞起洋娃娃叫小朋友同佢握手, 摸佢既腳, 眼耳口鼻等. 之后叫佢去另一边拋波(mini basketball), pick up 某个色既 ball 拋入架, final 比包 candy 佢, 睇吓小朋友識唔識 say thank you and bye bye. 成个過程好簡單. 由於 interview 時好多小朋友及家長係同一間房入面玩, 老師会走埋黎,坐係地墊上,同小朋友边玩边 interview, 唔同一般坐係枱面前 serious 咁 interview 及問答, 所以小朋友会比較興鬆, 自在.

PB is a very efficient KG. Received the acceptance letter today, it's PM Class.

My girl answer all questions, only that she answer in ENG and CANTONESE sometimes. Really don't know their standard of acceptance... but still I think my girl is not their 1st choice coz I have choosen AM Class in the application form.

I am very nervous now because I need to go home to check the mailbox after office...my son is "small B" (Dec'09) and didn't answer all the questions so I guess the chance of acceptance is very low

don't worry, i know a 0612 baby, got accepted by pbk last year, and it's am class! she's now in k1 there.

2007 has many many babies and that's why I am so worry - besides my son is not speaking very well so I know it is difficult to get offer...

i got the letter (i live in quarry bay). it's waiting PM class... my daughter did not perform well. she is shy & only smile. not answer teacher's questions directly. only talk and response to me...

I rec'd the notification yesterday. PBK accepted my daughter for K1 am session. My daughter borned in Nov 07....small girl. So I am happy.

I also live in TKO. I know there is no school bus for TKO. The school will refer the contact for private school van.

依花 , why you will not register ar? Coz your kid has been accepted in the AM class.

Alvin Mama, same to you that I am a bit disappointed when I know my girl has been assigned in PM class. She is a big girl (0207) and answered all questions during the interview... since I targeted AM class for her (for me, her rest / nap time is more important at this age), so I don't think I will register la.

Parents on waiting list, don't be frustrated coz more seats will be release after the 1st registration this Sat!

I received the letter yesterday, they offer the PM class to us.

But I'm a little bit disappointed, as I think my daughter performed well during the interview. Anyway, will pay the $660 this Sat for reserve the seat first.

我囡囡現在讀緊N班,寶血的程度同我哋間學校相同,我哋會考多間學校的,唔會心水的話,會留原校讀書.
