想問一問小一面試時要認中英文生字, 會是那些類型的生字? 有無家長的小朋友面試完後, 可分享一下?

KTS asked Chinese vocabulary like bus, taxi, you, me; not very difficult ones.

Good Hope asked students to speak English animals like bug, frog.

My #1 told me that in one interview (last year), he was asked to read a short passage from a Chinese book and another one from an English book (I guessed they were story books).  He said that he just asked the interviewer when he didn't know some of the words.

以我知 好多小學int 都係不外孚3味
1) 自己講story 2) 比幅圖叫個小朋友講 3) 認字 講真 int都係好睇小朋友既林場表現 同佢個日既狀態

另外還有玩,等小朋友玩到家長吩咐的全忘記了,才開始評分

My girl is 5 years old. She can remember some English vocabulary and spell them, but finds it difficult to recognize the words in the whole sentence. She can remember the meaning of the story and tell it, but not good at reading each word. I'm really amazed to see other kids reading difficult Eng. books by themselves.

I think both our girls learned Phonics. Your girl is good at applying it to reading, my cannot manage to link them together yet.

My girl is the other way around bor... she could read the words according to the context by guessing the meaning and the sounds, but not good at spelling at all
