我11月7日去in k1, 有無媽媽都係7號in???

佢並唔係一間英文幼稚園, 所以d英文唔會好似st. cat.同york咁好架

可能因為佢學費貴又無學券, 所以好小人講呢間學校, 我大女以前係讀呢間既, 小朋友讀得好開心, 老師都好有愛心.

我當然想佢讀其他學校啦，如果佢真係咁bad luck冇學校收的話，咁就冇辦法要讀方方。我唔係話方方唔好，只不過真係唔清楚佢d學生出嚟會去邊度多。。。

你報咗幾多間？我寄咗8間，但依家知道可以in的得兩間。
你有冇報創價？你又覺得呢間點？

我想問下你女女有冇直上啟思小學？？其實我都想個女讀得開心，有均衡發展就好好了。因我係住九龍塘區，所以咁多學校，有時真係唔知點㨂好？？？你係過來人，可否指點一下？？

我報左2間啟思, 創價, york, st cat, 金巴倫, KM, +BLUE

其他都未有信呀~~~~

其實都好驚呀~~~07 細B都幾慘呀~

方方我而家都仲未了解好多呀, 都未知佢係唔係一間好學校, D老師都幾NICE ga, 嬸嬸都好好~

其實我心目中係york & st cat, 但我知道我個女好難囉!!!
無學校收都係方方架啦, 都無辦法啦~

但我睇番以為d評語, 方方英文都唔差架喎!!!
但唔知真唔真囉~~~

你都報咗好多間喎～～我有三間同你一樣，另外都報咗培正同民生等等，不過未有回音。

我自己首選係St. Cat, 聽口碑創價都好好，但呢兩者中好似分別幾唔同。。。。不過依家唔理咁多住，收咗先再選擇。

其實你都要對你囡囡有多d信心，面試時自己輕鬆d（我老公就好緊張嘅，咁樣俾老師嘅印象唔係咁好），咁樣去面對反而好好多。

培正無機會, 佢8月31日前先可以申請, 下年可能會試報!!!

所以比佢番下方方, 就算無學校收起碼都有方方麻...

I will not choose this school coz the school fee of 啟思小學

is sooooooooooo expensive (over $70,000 per year) and my families can't afford it. Is it worth that high fee? Welcome to share.

其實九龍塘除左york, st cat係教英文好之阱, 仲有咩係英文好d呢???

啟思小學 very expensive (over $70,000)都唔駛讀佢啦!!!

幼稚園都唔係平啦, 咁貴英文又無york, st cat咁差, 貴在哪裡???????呢

got the interview letter today, the interview time is Nov 14, crash with KV interview, so will give it up & go to KV.

I am upset by the school fee for 啟思 esp primary school, also, I heard english std is not as good as other kln tong kinders (not sure if it is true since this is my first time applies kinder for my kid).

I guess I will skip the interview.

According to my research: (correct me if wrong)

CPSKG will have 90 mins of time native eng speaker attending the class each day.

York will only have 30 mins (1 lesson) of time native eng speaker attending the class each day. But they will use Eng as primary lang for teaching (may be by local teachers). Are York students strong in eng only if they attend the additional Cambridge course?

KV will even has no NET teacher.

It seems CPSKG can provide more time in Eng environment for the students. Is that true?

In fact, CPSKG and KV are totally diff in teaching method. CPSKG runs IB programmes and KV is a very traditional KG.

So you should know which fits your kid most.

My son is now studying K3 in Creative Primary.

They have native english speaking teacher with them for 90 minutes.  So, besides academic, they are trained on English conversation.

The NET also teach them phonics, which I think is very helpful for reading English.

Use my son as example, he can now speak fluent English (I brought him to US, and he communicate well).  And he can now read books at P.2 level.  But nobody has "pushed" him.  So its quite amazing how it works.

I don't know if St. Cat provide a similar environment like CPS.

As for Creative Primary.  A very important issue is, what kind of education you want your kids to have, and if that benefits him in the future. Yes, it is expensive.  To me, if I can afford, I will let him go to Creative Primary.  I agree with its philosophy.

Remember, education is something you cannot value using money.  Its whether you agree with its philosophy and want your children to carry on for a lifetime.
