想问一问，通常学校说会在某一天网上公布名单，是在凌晨时分，还是在办公时间?

I'm also so nervous. I don't know what time KTSPS will upload the result to Internet. According to the experience of YW and TSL, they release the result at the specified morning time. Not midnight. But it seems KTSPS didn't mention the time of release.

Anybody know how many applicants and how many will be shortlisted into the 2nd interview?

1st IN pass佐,仲要再玩2nd IN,緊張完一次又再緊張第二次

去年和以前，10月只是 in 一輪，只見小朋友。

今年 6 月 waiting list 第一次要見家長。記憶所及，本來小朋友都要到，後來改了不用到，可能因為 H1N1.

曾經嘗試過收風有關 "小一面試/收生" 的安排/做法，年年都滴風不漏，很嚴緊。

你地應該都估中係邊間既啦,唔洗開估架,係男校,唔會有女仔apply既

.好似猴子爸所講,女仔係另一間,可能我寫得唔夠清楚啦.

而家間中都會望下舊愛既消息既,不過完全唔打算再諗插班之類既野啦,反而想第日有機會,響校際既交量,希望囝囝有機會打贏佢添...因愛成恨啦.

Congrats. I'm also very excited and happy to see my daughter got through to 2nd in as well. At first I could'nt remember the no. but after second thought, I remember the last two digits were my year of birth. After scrolling for a minute, I found my daughter's name...My heart was really racing, can't wait to tell her the good news.

banding 係學生，唔係學校，因為每間小學都有齊band 1至band3的學生。

正確的問法係KTS有幾成band 1學生？

as far as I know, there is no banding system for primary school. Only the secondary schools have a banding system (3 bands). Not 100% sure, correct me if i am wrong.

102畢業,有97人讀英中.雖然不全是名牌中學,但成績很好.真的很好了.

KTS是不錯的小學,中文用普通話教,環境優美,交通方便,聽我個鄰居講(佢個仔係度讀)功課都幾多,否則如何達到-->"升中派位成績不錯"呢?

如果你連KTS 2nd IN都無:
慶喜你,你個細路超班,KTS一睇就知佢吾係佢地個客仔,吾想浪費個位,
相反, KTS interview吾難(比起SFA,DBS,...), 呢間吾收, 考到其他高班過佢既學校機會真係吾大(同level既吾敢講)

不過世事難料,峰迴路轉,可能大抽獎抽到MCS,LS,... 呢?

不要放棄。

如果"兩樣都係"的理論成立,可能是你朋友的女兒那天沒有展露出gifted的一面,這也不奇怪的,我接觸的資優小朋友(IQ)並不是每時每刻都表現資優的.
臨床心理學家要用很多測試才可以肯定,平常人可能覺得那資優兒有點怪,甚至有點笨的.

为什么我们有一部分人就是不肯接受这个事实:我们的小孩子落选了，是因为当天面试的表现及不上入选的小孩呢?说什么这间私小怕收超班仔，我相信只是一厢情愿的安慰思想而已。即使是落选了，失败了，有什么大不了呢?入选的，真的替你们高兴，落选的，也不代表小孩子质地比人差，也就不过是在那场比赛中技不如人而已。
如果我儿子在要来的3间直资都进不了第二轮，我肯定是我儿子有很多地方被扣分了，如果被选上的话，也就是那间学校看中他的优点长处。无论如何，我们都要帮助他改善不足之处，这才是比较积极的做法。
在申请学校上，若这一步失败了，就往下步走吧，是很艰难，是很担心，但振作下去，起码可以成为小孩的榜样。

很同意你的看法, 短時間內老師有那麼多小朋友要見, 學校有收生標準, 唔應該會錯過超班學生, 但難免有偏差, 最緊要往前看, 正面去想, 找一間最合適自己小朋友讀的學校...

同意猴子爸的觀点，這是正確和積極的態度。與其花時間去分析學校背後收生的陰謀論，不如積極去纠正或改善子女的不足。如觀看「超级巨聲」電視節目，你會看到一些有潛質的參賽者，都不是可以在每一場比賽中都達到應有的水準，可能狀態間題，可能情緒問題，可能準備不足，亦可能因當日的評判唔夾而失準。同樣5歲的小孩子就算天才橫溢都不一定每次面試都表現優異，大家平常心去看件事，母須太多陰謀論。

sorry，冇講清楚，佢好似連IQ test分都寫埋落去CV度。我當時重勸佢唔好，因聽聞好多學校知道係資優反而唔收。
