請問有冇人知去年既interview需要幾耐時間?
同埋會用咩形式呀?
好緊張同擔心呀........

Hi JackyBaBa,

不用太擔心以下是我們去年interview之情況.

家長和小朋友在waiting room等, 之後一起進入另一班房.  班房內有3 group的家長&小朋友與其group的老師interview.

老師先會問家長一些問題, 之後家長先離開班房在外等候.  小朋友會回答老師一些問題之後另外2 group的小朋友一起玩puzzle. ~ finished ~

What questions that they will ask parent and children?
Any body received the interview time?
The interview day is 24/10/09 will same as SFA. Who also apply both?

Last year also same day with SFA & 男拔 for my son.

Re the questions are simple, like why did you choice this school, which kindergarten from etc. And have one case study for parents.

I also applied both. SFA has interview on that day at 11:00am. And not yet receive the letter from Ramondi

Parents only answer 3 or 4 questions and kids around 3 and puzzle, then total around 15-20 mins.

Case study, like if your son gets the complian from school, then what will to do?

Thanks for all you information. 高主教 is also my first around the private school. However, I noted from other parts here that if you confirm 高主教 you need to withdraw the submission to the gov't one. Is it really? I have submit to La Salle with 20 pts and both school I also like very much. I don't know how to choose.

Yes, I am also facing the same dilemma. We're pending the results of the discretionary places in St. Joseph's Primary (Wanchai) of which we got 25 points. But the results of Raimondi College Primary released earlier than the government one. Really wonder whether we should attend the interview in Raimondi College.

Think which school you believe is good to your kid and I guess you can choose the right one finally...

St. Joseph (no need to pay) Vs Raimondi (need to pay at least $24K per year)...

I guess most of the parents will choose St. Joseph ^^

You have got 25 pts, is not 100% will enter St.Joesph? Anyway, we try our best during the interview and at least if they confirm us we have the chance to think.

There is no doubt that St. Joseph's Primary is our first choice since my husband is an old boy there.  We got another 5 points of being catholics.  But even so, it's not 100% that we can get the place.  Many sons of SJPS old boys are also catholics.

Initially, we thought Raimondi, unlike DSS, is a private school and the registration with it won't affect the place in the first round (government discretionary place).  But from the interview letter received today, the results will be released before Nov 16.

Wonder whether the registration at Raimondi also has to be done before Nov 23! (i.e. before the results of the government discretionary place available.)  If so, we would better not to go for interview at Raimondi.

By the way, may I know your child's application number which printed on the interview letter on my friend's behalf? My friend's no is 10117xx (guess there are at least 7xx applicants this year :p)

My application no. is 101102X. (I submitted the application by putting in their box at school entrance on Sept 21 early morning. i.e. quite early).

If they make the arrangement like this, my gut-feeling is that they are trying to exclude those who will wait for the results of "discretionary places" anyway.

Just called office of Raimondi College Primary. They said the date of deadline for registration is not yet confirmed, but it would probably later than Nov 23 such that parents can make the registration after the results of discretionary places available. After once registered with it, kid shall not go for the government Central Allocation in Jan 2010.

Do you know whether the school is well equipped for girls to study? As the teaching method and practice may not be the same for boy and girl. How about their secondary school? Will they accept girls? Otherwise, girls can't go directly to the secondary school.
