I think in general, language skills are very important. Especially Mandarin & English. English is still the more international language (at least in my opinion) and Mandarin is important as all of you know so there's no need to explain.

I believe a good foundation in English is essential, just a simple example, look at all the materials available online through google or the more professional articles / information are still in English.

It's important for children to build a good foundation from young.

課外o既英文班就唔一定需要,視乎屋企有無人同小朋友講,當然仲有家長o既期望同要求.

I agree. So i let my son to learn english from British native english teacher. As the teacher speak cantonese in school all the time.
Can't improve english oral.

U mean your daughters......She can read ORT up to level 6? U teach her reading skills? how to do so? Sometimes my daughter is immpatient or not interested in listening to my 'vocie' ...:(
How old is she now? studying K1?
