Anyone who has had the interview today? Can you share the questions?
In English or Mandarin?

It took 1 hour 15minutes to complete the interview on kids.  We waited there for 2 hours(from the time we arrived)
The blue card we brought comprised of 5 boxes.  My daughter said there were several types of games.
They included maze, colouring, writing, reading, Q & A, dancing and pretending to be something.  They played in groups.  At the end, each kid was given a little pack of marshmallow.
My daughter really enjoyed it.
As for parents, we have to fill in a questionnaire.  There will be more than sufficient time to complete it.
Teachers said 2nd interview will take place at the end of Oct or early Nov.

Thanks Charlottechan! Can you share the questionnaire questions? My son will have the interview on coming Sat. What did they ask in Mandarin?

the questionnaire has 2 pages printed on both sides. No restriction on language (we filled it in with English, I saw a few filled theirs in Chinese).
First page:
(1) student name and application no. (better write it down beforehand, lest you have to check with teachers in that classroom)
(2) parents info: name and occupation.
(3) circle the box to indicate the bedtime of your kid.
(4) some more general Q on page 1, but I cant recall, sorry.
Second page: (I think this page is more important)
(1) your expectation on PTA (parent teacher asso.) they provided 2 lines for you to answer.
(2) what other musical instrument you will let your kids learn ( I wrote "it depends on her interest)
(3) what musical instrument your kid is learning
(4) tell us more about your kid. they provided 8 lines for you to write. You can ask for extra paper to write more if necessary.

my daughter did not tell me if mandarin was asked. but English and Cantonese were definitely used.
As the interview lasted 1.25hours, my daugther memory faded. She recalled the happy moments such as slithering like a snake on the floor and doing the maze. She cant go into details, which is understandable.
I think the quesitonnaire will be used in the second interview .

Do parents need to be interview on the 2nd interview? or just the kid ?

we just come back from the 1st interview really hope my son can go for the 2nd interview...
