Dear ChiChiPaPa

As the schools are assigned randomly, it depends on your luck. Besides, they are all government schools in the scheme except EF's own schools. I'll say most of them are so so. You can also consider AFS which is a non-commercial organisation.

Most likely you have to take this as a gap year if you come from a mainstream school in Hong Kong. There may be some exceptions if you go for exchange after finishing F5 here.

ChiChiPaPa,You can check AFS first, there're orientations & sharing every month organised by AFS, you can check from their website.
My girl has just gone to Italy as a 1 year exchange student in AFS program.
In both EF & AFS programs, students need to suspend a school year as this's a a cultural experience.
It's better for you & your kid understand what you really want, a year of cultural experience or a academic year ?

我覺得EF Summar course exchange prog . 比較抵玩同出名佢覆蓋好多歐洲國家

I'm one of the host family in hk. My student is come from Costa Rica and will stay here for 1 year.

If your kid go to other country as exchange student, they will just like us, having 1 extra kid. It is very depends whether their host family will friendly treat and taking care of your kids. Otherwise they will be very unhappy in a new environment.
