Hi jackal,

I have the same worry as you.  My girl is also in Nursery class.  What's more, she is a small girl (born in Nov 2006).  I'm still thinking whether she should start the Science Workshop at St. Catherine's.

As the medium of instruction is English, I'm not sure whether she can fully understand the lesson on her own.  I suppose parents may not be allowed to stay with their kids in class, though this is not clearly stated in the notice.  But I will check this out and other details with the centre.

I'm also considering to enroll the courses held in the Science Workshop centres, so I can wait until my girl is older.

I don't want to enroll too many extra courses for my girl because I'm a working mom and I hope to spend more time with her on Saturday and Sunday.  That means I need to make careful decisions.  Time is so precioius!

If any parents have sent their kids to Science Workship, please share your views.  Is it interesting?  Is it easy or difficult for kids to understand?

Just some information for parents who would like to join science workshop later.

I called the centre. They said there would be another round of science workshop to be held at SC later, probably in the 2nd term and the topics will be different.

Hi jackal and nymum,

I have the same concern as you, my daughter is also in nursery class. In fact, I sent the cheque to school, but later I read the leaflet again, the content is still difficult for young kid to understand. I don't want to waste money, so finally asked teacher to withdraw my application and send back the cheque.
