【明報專訊】拔萃男書院附屬小學今年起改革收生制度，減低「世襲」優勢後，小一入學申請反應熱烈，校方一共接獲2200份申請表，競逐150個學額，平均近15人爭1個學位，申請表比上年1929份增加14%，創近年新高。

減「世襲」優勢申請創新高

男拔由今年起，將篩選合資格學童進入次輪面試，但只計算面試表現，暫不考慮學童與學校的關聯，減低「世襲」優勢，直到次輪面試後才計算學童與學校關聯的分數。另一名校聖保羅
男女中學附屬小學今年亦接獲近2100份申請，競逐150個學額，情况與去年相若。

Are you talking about DBSPD or DPS? The news should be about he first one, which is a direct subsidy school, and the deadline for submission of application forms should be last Thursday. For the second one, it's under the lucky draw system and I don't think the school itself can choose to count「世襲」 or not. There are rules to follow.
