大家對九龍塘宣道有何意見?? 升宣小機會大唔大呢?

而家開始幫亞女報出年k1, 我的選擇如下:

- St. Catherine
- 根德園
- York
- St. Nicholas
- 九龍塘宣道(聽朋友講話幾好)
- 真光 (鍾意佢一條龍, 不過睇過佢地個web-site介紹, 一星期只得一堂英文堂, 會唔會少左啲呢?? 所以都十五十六唔知報唔報)

我首選係st. catherine, 如果你係我, 其他的你會點排呢？

will you consider 聖若望 (eng & math level is good for kg) & 協恩 (direct to P.1)
Coz seem both kg also better than 宣道!!
Of course if you ask me, I will choose St Cat & 根德園!!

但我問過宣道都不是日日有英文堂,同要到k2 or 以上先有普通話堂,根德園都係,唔係日日有英文堂.

宣幼k1已經有普通話堂的。

我個女讀緊k1, d老師好好, 好有愛心, 同埋佢地注重德育方面, 小朋友除左學術方面,係德育方面都好重要, 有話3歲定八十, 佢地k1會注重德育多d, 因為小朋友係德育方面要自細培養, 小時教唔好, 大了就好難教,所以佢地係k2/k3就會改為注重學術方面。

甘,想問下,英文堂,一星期有幾多堂.你地又會唔會比小朋友繼續讀宣小,讀kg,係咪一條龍可真升呢?

協恩幼稚園係無得direct to P.1架, 協恩小學係要抽架 ! 因為我細囡讀緊協恩幼稚園.

宣道好難入架!

而家k1都已經有普通話(國語native speaker)同英文堂(外國人)啦.....

They accepted small girl/boy. My daughter born in Oct 06 and gain admission to K1. In the classroom there is a hanger to show which student born in which month. I counted: out of 65, 25 students were born from Oct to Dec (we so called small girl/boy). Therefore the chance is quite fair.

My daughter also gain admission to St. Catherine at the same time but I re-treated cos I agreed one of the parent said "有話3歲定八十, 佢地k1會注重德育多d, 因為小朋友係德育方面要自細培養, 小時教唔好, 大了就好難教, 所以佢地係k2/k3就會改為注重學術方面"

Besides, I am very impressed with the teachers' attitude towards nuturing a kid (very sincere and courteous). At the beginning I also worried about the academic standard. During the registration day in Aug I talked with the vice-headmistress. She said Alliance kindergarten's Chinese and Mathematics standard is very compatible with those famous kinder. She is honest to me that English may be less. But I think it can be supplemented by parent and learning course outside. Also, the school fee is so unexpensive i.e. $587 after deducting the education voucher. We can spend more for the kid to study outside.

Just a share of my personal thought.

Yes. So far I am satisfied with their service and they are caring to those small kid, like my daughter.

alot of parents commented that the kindergarten academic would be weaker than other kinder in kln tong and would the kindergarten standards be able to do the transition when they enroll into the alliance primary school?

One of the BK parent told me that his son studied in Alliance kinder and now study in Alliance Primary School, Kln Tong. She felt it is ok to connect. This is the key driving reason why I sent my daughter to Alliance kinder.

Honestly I will not totally rely on the kindergarten to teach her. Instead, I have already sent her to English course since last summer vacation (now continue the course every week); we have 2 bun bun helpers at home therefore she can practise her spoken English daily. I also teach her to recognise new Chinese and English word to build her vocabulary. As her cousin was graduated in St. Catherine therefore I can teach myself based on the course guideline etc. We can do a lot as long as we have a heart for the kid.

Again, just a personal share of thought.

完全同意你講法.
涵唔涵接到好睇家長點教同比咩補藥佢.
當然學校都重要, 但唔能夠吓吓靠學校,
自己都有責任, [身教]才重要.
