, 大部份活動教學的直資是一條龍的,如果不是一條龍的活動教學小學,我非常同意Avbee的意見
因中學面對來自五湖四海的小學生,而中學又要交出漂亮的公開試成績,真的很難去照顧那些學生,又同時谷小朋友
但直資一條龍,有12年可去調節,可去了解每一個升中的學生情況
所以要看情況吧!!

唔活動既學校, 都唔代表程度高, 活動教學亦唔一定程度低, 就係咁簡單

Me too, I want to know too. I don't see much discussions about SSPS, isn't it not much ppl applying? I heard that the principal is becoming more pushy than before so to raise up the academic results.

當小朋友入大學既時候, 佢地就會發現活動教學先係最終目標, "了解, 消化, 融匯, 再表達自己意見", 死讀死記, 操練model answer已經係幫唔到佢地.

既然係咁點解唔從小培養佢地多思考, 多表達自己? 只要係一條龍中小, 我相信係新高中334學制之下, 活動教學係會有優勢.

Last year, SSCPS got over 800 application for 99 seats. Over 92% students P6 accepted by the SSC from the principal message. I like this school because of the language enviroment is very good. They uses Putonghua to teach Chinese and 常識.
Math is taught by local English teacher. The other English subjucts are taught by Native speakers.
The school requires students to learn music instruments. The school enviroment is perfect. Students are very happy and enjoy the school life. By the way, school bus routes covered most of Hong Kong Island.

Thanks very much for your response. Really I don't find much comments about SSPS until now. Yes definitely their language environment is well above other local schools. I did go to see their open day, their students can speak good english. Any other additional charges apart from the school fees? There is school bus covering my living area I saw their bus came by my street.

Can you share how's the interview going to be? What kind of attributes from a student that they're looking for? Do siblings have priority over other applicants? I heard that they don't have much homeworks, isn't it?

BTW, have you ever heard that st. stephen attempt to let their students try IB dip?  This was once mentioned like 2 years ago, but donno if this is still one of the direction.

BTW, have you ever heard that st. stephen attempt to let their students try IB dip? This was once mentioned like 2 years ago, but donno if this is still one of the direction. I don't know. SSCPS is a primary school only, the parents days always have a specific topic.

Is your child studying at SSCPS? Yes, my son is studying in SSCPS. Can you share about the interview process? Last year, the interview was 20 min only. He said he saw a movie/ DVD and the teacher asked him some questions. I hope these information can help you.

想請問如果家長英文麻麻地,小朋友讀港大同學會得唔得,係埋話會有好多英文功課要家長合作先做到,如寫報告等?
有無人知啊?

港同係廣東話教, 要做project, 但唔會用英文做(小5下學期or小六可能會), 我女而家小4, 無用過英文做report
港同課程唔淺的(包括英文科), 如果學生求知慾強, 學校好歡迎學生自己搵資料然後用於功課上, 否則學生就用返上課既基本知識去應付功課, 對於成績教差既學生, 學校亦有補底, 港同係持續評估, 小1,2無測考, o係學校既任何活動都會用作評估, 小3亦只考2次, 中英數only
所以唔會話無家長幫就做唔掂既, 當然小朋友初次做project, 點去搵料, 點樣有效消化, 有家長幫就最好了
