大家好，我係去年1B家長，八掛入來睇下。
去年Maths冇話要買CD，會唔會話嗰D網上數學練習，不過如果有，學校會有通告俾家長的。
另外，學校網有每日家課俾家長睇的，雖然有時會唔齊，但都可以去睇下，你囡囡寫係Others的野，可能係要帶baby photo。
你地呢D估功課遊戲，我地去年開學時都玩過一段時間，小朋友慢慢就會寫得清楚D架啦，唔駛太擔心，就算做漏左功課，老師都唔會罵/罰小朋友的，只要做返就OK。

大家好，我囝囝係P.1B第二組，多多指教。

其實，我囝囝亦寫了 "'Polo, Poll, Pol2"，我也不明白那是什麼，最後上網看完家課冊後才知道是通告 P 010, P011, P012. 他更說要做"綜合高效識字" P.7, 但家課冊又沒有寫，我相信他又聽錯吧。總之這個估功課遊戲真係有排玩!

不過，在這裡真好，日後可與大家交流及請教。

大家好, 我囡都是P1B, 她還有個家姐是P3. 但未問她是那一組.

以我的經驗, 綱上 execrise 雖不是指定動作, 但若果你可以幫助她開始到每日做, 慢慢可以成為一個好習慣. 一分努力, 一分收獲嗎!

特別要提的是數學, 因方間較少英文數習題, 綱上是又平又方便的供應. 若小孩子不喜歡做太多 execrise, 可先參加一至二個綱上 execrise 試吓先.

小一生的 handwriting, 真是好笑, 細囡第一天拿回來的英文字頭, 基本上全部錯了. 　每次看她的功課簿, 真是如玩猜估遊戲.

昨日G.S.有一份功課是 "Book P.3", 但我們仍未收到這本書(因我們透過學校訂購書本, 部份書本仍未派發予小朋友)。

我想請問有沒有透過學校訂購書的同學已收到餘下的書本, 包括G.S. ? 雖然學校通告通知在這幾天派發, 但我們一本也沒有收過。我擔心我的小朋友胡里胡塗, 老師說了也不知道。我今早曾致電學校欲向老師查詢，但因今天是星期六，找不到老師。我不知道他如何完成這份功課?

請問有沒有人知道呢? 請各位多多幫忙，謝謝!

係默書時老師會讀一d有 "m" 音的words，小朋友要認出個 "m" 音係個word的前面定後面。例如話老師讀 "mother"，咁小朋友就要寫 "m_ _ _ _"，咁如果老師讀 "worm"，咁小朋友就要寫 "_ _ _ m"。唔係 "m" 的嗰幾個英文字母，唔需要啱字數，老師只係要知道小朋友是否能分辨到 "m" 呢個字母的音。

don't worry.....it is something like a chapter revision and don't put too much stress on them.
it should be mainly on listening and teacher will read the questions to them....they are simple enough

Glad to say that my son is also a group 2 member.

Not yet fix where and when to go for the LWL visit. But not this Sat/Sun as we are fully occupied in the Mid-autumn Festival.

我個仔的方法唔知啱唔啱你小朋友。佢會用神奇畫版來溫，如果個仔比較少筆劃/簡單，我會叫佢寫大大隻係個畫版度，一來俾佢覺得好似輕鬆d唔似溫書，二來寫大隻d可以寫清楚筆劃，邊度應該/唔應該穿頭，邊劃長d邊劃短d。佢寫完我會叫佢自己記住個字，然後擦左個字，佢自己憑記憶再寫，簡單的字好容易就記得，如果結構比較複雜，可以拆部件來寫，記好晒d部件就合埋寫個字。呢個方法係避免左佢一筆一劃照抄個字，但抄完都唔識寫成個字。So far 我個仔都幾ok。

I've just finished the meeting with the class teachers in the parents day. That's the first time I meet the Miss Siu and Mr Chan. They give me a sense of trust, as they are very professional and nice.

I feel happy and satisfied with my choice "to be a member of EC".

They really pay a lot of effort to our children and I would like to say THANK YOU to them, they really make a difference to my child as well as our family.

You want it in group or individual session?
Do you really decide to start the tutorial in P1?

Principal Lo has tuned the syllabus to ease our children and you can discuss with Ms. Siu or Mr. Chan whether your child needs the tutorial or not.  I noted most of the children with private tutorial will develop some adverse effect.  The motivation towards learning will decrease.

Hope you can think about it!

We haven't had time to review now.  We are doing things very slowly.  But it is time to add oil.

My experience of preparing exam for my elder girl:

GS:  Reading Conners
Chinese:  review worksheets, especially writing worksheets (because exam paper will be similar), rewrite vocabs
Eng:  text book, spell vocabs
Mths:  do more exercise, use another set of books.
Longman Primary Mathematics
Workbook and worksheets
by YC Yung, YT Leung and YC Lau.

How about your plan?

大家好, 之前我很少上來BK討論, 因在公司不方便上網, 工作又太忙. 但見我們這班好靜, 很少同學家長上來談談, 不知是否大家也很忙呢?

就快考試了, 大家download 左 pastpaper 未? 對我小朋友來說，其他的科目他尚可以應付, 但中文算幾深, 我真有點替他擔心, 現在的小朋友真不簡單. 不過我相信我們的小朋友一定得嘅!

The chinese is really hard but Ms. Siu will read all the question to them. I think it really helped but I'll prefer to give him a challenge rather than a nightmare.
