Just curious, how long did it take for the school to respond? I have sent mines in late Sept but so far there is no reply...

I cannot say "received the reply = no hope".

But for my experience, there will be no response until you suddenly receive a call or mail to ask your daughter to attend the interview in the coming days/week. And before that, you like sending letters to the Santa.

That's why I thought no news is good news.

what can i do?? i sended my daughter's profile on last Sept. And, Santa replied to me send back again on June 2010! do i need to try it again on next month??
Usually, when did all applicants will has the interview?? I heard that before, 2009 P1 students attended interview on last July! is it true?

Could you kindly advise what is the format and content of the interview? Is it a group interview? How many applicants in a group? The language used in the interview? When would be the result announced? Thanks.

Seems that the chance of 'outsiders' to be admitted to this school is really slim.

The interview is held by Sister herself in English. Children are divided into small groups (4-5girls each group) and kids are interviewed in group basis. Simple maths questions (like :I have 5 pencils, if I take out 2, how many left?) and: What colour you can find in the curtain? Do you like reading story books? Which story you like most? Sister may also asks the children to write down their name on the paper.

Even the chance is slim, worth to have a try. This is really a good school!

Dose it mean there will be a big chance to have acceptance if they let you attend the interveiw? it seems it is not so difficult in the interview, but it is very hard to have the opportunity of attending the interview.

Um... I think there should be around 100+ children can have the chance for interview (I just guess of what I saw on the day and have such assumption...) and around 10+ children can get the offer, that means the chance of getting a seat is about 10%. But I don't know how many applicants each year for the P1 application, so I can't tell your assumption is correct or not.

I heard there may be 2 interviews conduct in Dec/Jan and Jun, therefore, keep trying if you really love this school.

Are u sure Sister will call someone for interview in Jan every year? Dose she have any criteria to choose the applicant for interview. Why some of them didn't have the chance of interview?

I have a friend's daughter who was called by the school to have interview in Jan two years ago. I also read from the previous thread that some of the bk mums was called to have interview in Jan last year. I don't know their selection criteria for interview. But definitely there are some bk mums who was called for interview do not have relationship with the school at all.

As per Muicc's information, there should be one hundred applicants attending the interview in Jan.
Why is there no BK mum called for interview? or they don't post on BK. How can I know more about the admission?

I cannot give you any ~for sure~ information about the selection progress... all i can share with you all is about my 2 daughters experience in the past years... I cannot ensure the calling time for interview this year, sorry...

Take is easy, try your best and no regrets, no need to ask why because there is no definate answer in BK...

Truely speaking, I understand there are many questions through out the application period, since we are not from the kindergarten, the selection progrss is quite undergo and not public. Maybe Sister picks the girls by her own favourite or maybe she has her own formula(we will never know) to select the right one. We must learn to ~respect~ their rules if we really love this school. Anybody knows why they suddently having interviews yesterday and today for so many childrens. Are this year seats not yet filled up? Do they normally have interviews that late in July? How about last year?

People who had interviews in Jan and on the waiting list, do they have offer yet?

It seems they interviews quite a lot of interviewees yesterday and today. Anybody will be interview tomorrow?
