其實我之前都有聽過其他媽咪係咁講, 不過我估 KV 真係太多學生, 好似好難先搵到讀埋同一班的同學咁.

May be there are more than 1 Ms. Lam. Miss Lam in 2E is very nice!

But she will take 10 weeks off around mid Jan next year. So our kids will have another teacher teaching for that 10 weeks.

My daughter confirmed that's a different Miss Lam they were so scared of.

Miss Chui is my daughter's class teacher last year. She is very nice.

We are so relieved.

10-week off? Oh! From her look today, I really do not notice she is pregnant.

I'm relieved and glad that we have 2 nice teachers in 2E !!

I'm worried after Miss Lam told me yesterday that there are Chinese and English Dictation every week and 3 Homework books to be finished every day.

My son does homework very slow and he had just finished 2 Summer books earlier this week jar. I'm afraid he takes LONG time to do 3 homework books every day.

琴日我見到果個女仔就係王逸浠!

好cute , 好斯文哩!

老師話第3個星期開始就有dictation, 仲有mental 添.
我諗初初開始都唔會太深.

老師話number簿可能不是順次序來做, 其他中, 英每次都是做一頁左右, 應該不會太困難.
其實, 老帥都鼓勵家長一邊同小朋友溫習, 一邊同佢玩.只要佢哋唔抗拒, 就唔會覺得困難.

I asked my son what did they do at school today and he told me he didn't use the pencil in his schoolbag. Miss Lam asked everyone to stand in front of the class and introduce him/herself. I asked him to tell me schoolmates' name but he said he forgot. I told him is there 王逸浠, 朱樂文 and Alissa, then he was very surprised why I know the names.... wakaka

My girl is not used to take a nap anymore. I know she is very tired after school and gets cranky at around 6pm daily. It takes time for her to adjust. What abt your kid?

Ar...she told me that there are 31 students in K2E. No.1-16 sit at one side and No. 17-31 sit at the other side.

BTW, she always told me she's boring in the morning and asked me to take her to some classes...

我尋晚試下問肥妹返學返成點, 佢今次肯講少少, 不過唔知真定假, 佢講唔到寫 "中國二字", 不過佢話玩左d card 同出左去玩滑梯, 唔知佢有無亂講.

之前我肥妹都一定要afternoon nap, 我都好怕佢眼瞓, 不過呢幾日佢放左學都算ok, 無扭眼瞓, 本來我以為佢會夜晚早d 瞓, 但都同平時一樣, 10點零先入睡.

我估你都唔洗擔心囡囡眼瞓, 小朋友好快會適應.

haha...it's a bit hard to arrange their morning classes as they still haven't adjusted well to do all homework for 3 subjects. I need to to see if she can manage well later.

Now she just have piano, English and putonghua classes in the morning.

My son said they learn how to write their Student number with bracket like (12) on the worksheet this week.

Miss Lam teaches them to line up according to their student number from 1 - 31.  Alton said he got stickers from Miss Lam because he found the correct position (12) at the queue.  All students in 2E got stickets yesterday except one (Alton said she is student number 27) but no sure if it's true.

He asked me to give him a piece of recycle paper and wrote down A-Z on the paper yesterday.  He said Miss Lam asked them to bring it back today.
But I haven't checked his school bag after school today if Miss Lam really get that paper.

佢地未教新字, 所謂"默書"都係寫返舊年學D 字, 應該OK.

I asked Ms. Lam today and she said they have Dictation starting Week 3. But this week is Week 1 because the first 2 weeks were Orientation weeks. That means they will have Dictation 2 weeks after. :loveliness:

It all depends on the class number of your kid. Around two weeks before the time period scheduled for your kid, you will be given a notice showing the topic concerned. You will have time to prepare the "Show and Tell" with your kid when the topic is given.

I asked him if they have Dictation at school yesterday but he said No.
Actually he didn't understand "Dictation" when I asked him, he thought the words he wrote in the chinese Star book was Dictation. May be they use different term of "Dictation" or teachers haven't mentioned to them yet. This week is Week 3 and they may have the first Dictation today or tmr. Let me ask my son tonight sin.

Like Alton, Calix didn't understand the meaning of "dictation" when I asked him yesterday. Then I asked if there's "mental" and he answered me that they'd just written 1 Chinese word 「木」. I felt strange but later I found out that he's mentioning the word written on the Star Book.

Yes, they have English Dictation on Tue and Chinese Dictation on Wed this week. They are required to write 5 words on each Dictation.

Hi. This Wed. was the 1st time I brought my daughter to school and tus I had a chance to talk to Miss Lam.
This Mon & Tue I also went to KV to pick her up by myself coz she's too tired to travel by nanny van.
She's so happy and asked me a few times to bring her to school and pick her up again by myself.
