They are the summer homwork for 80/09 P1. Anyway, it is no harm to let your kids try. You do not need to submit.

I living in Riviera Gdn and have a stop there.
I called Mr. Tsui before and still not confirm the pick up time for me. He said the school bus nanny will call me later (maybe next week).

Remember to download powerpoint of the presentation. There were a lot of info to tell in chinese, english, moden lang, maths etc. I could not write all down, teachers said it is downloadable from school intranet.

In the break-out session at the classroom, the home form teachers advised the following:

1. there are pigeonholes facilitated in the classroom for students to keep their belongings for used in school. From my observation, about 2' x 2'.

2. students are advised to keep a set of stationery (e.g. color pencils, etc.) in classroom, such that no need to carry the stationery everyday and therefore to offload the school bags. But this is voluntary.

3. since different groups will have lessons in different classrooms, students may leave their home form and travel to other classroom for some subjects, to avoid missing or dropping class materials during travel, students are advised to put things in a plastic folder/bag for each subject. Also voluntary.

4. 9/9 is photo taking day, students need to wear school uniform to school even the day has PE lesson.

5. lunch to be taken inside the classroom. (I forgot to ask should we prepare the cutlery for the kid). No need to prepare the place mat.

6. In normal school day, it will be a daily reading time with the home form teacher, so need to prepare 1 x English and 1 x Chinese books. Educational cartoon books are also acceptable (what the teacher replied to a parent's question).

We received a folder containing the student card, parent card (for student pickup), and payment pouch in the briefing day. You kid may get it in the first school day, or you may need to get it from the office.

In addition, in the letter to parents, there mentioned
a cheque of HK$300 to be brought to school.

Did your group mention anything about autopay of school fee? My group did not has this mentioned.

Re-assessment is done by the end of every term.

The initial grouping is based upon performance in the interview almost a year ago. Our experience last year is there are some regroupings in Maths (depending on the result of quizes) but not note of in Chinese and English (no summative assessments).

You may just put the group which he / she originally belongs to - there will be no change in subjects other than English, Chinese and Maths.

Yes, I think they require logo. By the ways, anyone who has been contacted by the school bus company regarding the assembly time and location? I am still waiting for their confirmation, but anyways I will contact them again.

As what I could recalled, the school would notify the student / respective parents of the ECA arranged for the respective students.

There would be another form for filling in the priority of uniform teams.  If there is excessive applicants in one team, the school than would handle it by lucky draw.

No worry, you will be notified later on.  There would be a number of circulars coming on.

囡囡重未決定好. 佢一時又話想做女童軍(因我老公同佢講女童軍整餅點好叻), 一時又話要做童軍(因可以跟男孩子一齊玩)

琴日呀仔(G1)話去左一間classroom讀english book比english class teacher & 另外一位Mr. WONG聽, 每个小朋友都要讀, 呀仔話都要讀幾長, 係唔係同什麼英文閱讀評估有關?

咩唔係普通assessment 咩? 個囡話無 read @ home 咁多字, 少少咋, 有幾個唔識, 救命!

This should be the process to access their reading level, so that the school can get them to start reading at the right level.
