今早收到根德園電話有am class.但St's Catherine am class我就已經交了校車費,書費,學費,同埋校服2套.這都不是大問題.KV 中文,數學勁,英文就出去學Ponics....計落條數平好多

如果唔係, 着眼點應該係呢兩間學校會俾嘅嘢係咪你想要嘅嘢囉!

不過, 我就上星期五收到KV電話 ~~
我都諗左好耐,
St. Catherine其實都係我心儀的學校,
我個仔又收左讀英普class,
同埋又係俾晒校車費,書費,學費等等都成5千幾

你最後決定讀邊間呀???

如果講學術水平一定是根德園,而且當K3要叩門時,好多小學也是考筆試,到時就知道學術水平是勝人一籌,因為我大囡就是這樣了

Hi,

People always like to compare these 2 kinder, here are my views:

Reputation - same strong

School fee - KV is cheaper than SC, but I think if boh kider are on the "list of choice", parent will not care about the $$ difference.

Style - KV is strong in academic and kids are tending to be more discipline and listen. SC is more lively teaching, strong in language, kids are tending to be more creative and outgoing.

Therefore, when making decision, you ask yourself what kind of person that you want your kid to be, than you can get the answer.

今日同家庭DR.傾過,佢問我primary school想讀邊間,我話英華,佢同我講咁KV.我話到時咪補英文,普通話.佢話唔通會叻過外國人,北京人咁話.有friend上friend係KV做教師.佢話今年K3有旅行.K1就冇普通話K2K3先有.K2有電腦堂.K1日日有音樂堂.一星期2堂P.E.K1上學期就畫線.下學期先寫字.St's Catherine 就K3好谷

我最後決定俾亞仔讀KV~~
因我target會俾亞仔讀傳統小學(英華都係目標之一),
KV根基會強D
再者亞仔坐唔定,
我想俾佢在KV train下紀律
希望無選錯啦

我仔的case 同妳一樣, 不過我就一早下定決心(從未動搖過)讀St.cat... Why? 原因只得一個, 就是我覺得太傳統的幼稚園太過拘束...我喜歡一些開放&多元化的幼稚園, 這可開啟小孩不同的思維...(註:我並不太介意小孩是否考100分, 即使85分我都好滿意...因為他的人生還是其他比讀書(分數)更重要的...)

其實KV & St. Catherine都是很好的學校,
我就覺得要睇小朋友本身的性格,
父母的期望,
同埋將來小學的取向去選學校,
始終幼稚園的基礎好有助於小學的適應

my daughter is 0609 BB & got acceptance by KV!
of course will study K1 in KV...target primary school is GHS!

大約每年的9-10月開始可以報名, 若不想錯過機會, 就主動直接問kg, 因為這兩間kg d 申請表都好緊急㗎!!!!

我記得上年小兒將會interview at KV & St.cat時, 我在這裡也找到有位好心媽媽提供的資料, 不過我就忘記了在哪兒&哪日看到了. 如果妳是有心的話, 一定会找到的, 或者有其他家長可幫手分享下...

Interview questions are quite difficult for a 3 years kid. How did you get application form, send a letter to request or download from the website?

I know there are 2 St. Cat at Kowloon Tong, so do I need to send 2 application forms seperately?

St.cat will give 3000 forms for the applicants.they will separate into groups and play the toys.That moment will ask the child some questions.After that will interview seperatly.Will ask the child matching the colours?what's the picture is ?the name and how old?the end will ask the mum why u applicate this kg

My son will study at St. Cat in September.
In mid-September, you can phone to the school or visit the school web-site, there will be some information regarding to the application process. And you need to send a letter to obtain the application form. The 2 campus are the same, you just need to send one applicaiton. And, if you accepted by the school, the school will allocate the campus for you and you cannot choose it, except for the special reason.
