Am or pm class better for K1 kids? Pls share your views. Thanks.

My girl just receives a call from school giving her an offer from pm to am class.

She used to sleep late (11:30pm)at nite and wakes up sometimes at 9am or 7:30am.  She has nap time for 2 hrs.  Recently, if she does not nap, she seems still ok (just once a week at weekend if we shop around whole the afternnon, so no nap).

However, she eats very slow and less, especially in the breakfast.  So I now worry we will have pressure to push her eat breakfast and eat quick and also to sleep earlier at nite and wakes early to school.  Maybe I worry too much!

I choose am just because time management will be better.

For me, am class is better. Children should wake up earlier. I prefer them to have an afternoon nap when they tired.

Since they have nap, they may fall asleep at nite very late. Thus, they are hard to wake up in the early morning and then no appetite for breakfast. How to tackle these?

唔俾佢nap, 早d瞓 e.g.9pm, 咁就自己早d起身
就算要nap, 都要3-4點嗰d時間, 黃昏至nap, 實唔駛瞓啦!

Some schools have a very good arrangement for kinders.
1. K1 - doesn't matter for AM/PM.
2. K2 - PM Class.
3. K3 - AM Class.
