想要鋼琴老師上門教8歲男孩,唔知要?$per hour?

I would say a Grade 8 certificate piano teacher with a few years experience will charge about $ 250-300 an hour.

Diploma and further experience, $350+.

My students who are piano teachers, but still studying Diploma with me goes to students' home to teach, they charge about $ 1100-1500 a month for 4 lessons including transportation. Depends on location, and what grade the student is.

其實我見市價個range 由幾十蚊 30分鐘去到三百幾蚊 60分鐘都有 !

有人同我講千祈唔好貪平, 因為如果教錯手勢同唔識教睇譜,後果好嚴重, 叫我唔好貪平 !

所以我依家都唔知點, 我又唔識, 就算請個貴既, 都唔知佢教得岩唔岩 !

有冇人可以指示下呀 ???

Only way to find out is get referral from a friend, and try out the teacher and see how your child "fits" with the teacher.

其實你講好岩，我發現係有經驗同埋資歷好d既老師都唔會收得平，收得平都係d 經驗淺得8級既十幾廿歲姐姐仔。之前都幫囡囡搵過上門平過琴行價，唔多"店"，求其，手型同睇譜都唔執，見過鬼怕黑~~

That applies to everything in life.
"What you pay is what you get." Sometimes, you get a good deal, but in HK, I find that's not the usual case.
