各位家長你地好,

我仔仔今年將讀小一, 我地住喺青衣. 我回校買書果日有兩個褓姆sell她們的service, 一個只接青衣區, 但回程時間較長. 另一個接埋荃灣, 放學就好快返到屋企. 唔知有無家長仔仔搭過佢地車, 知道D褓姆有無愛心, D服務好唔好.

多多指教!

Miss Leung,s :
1) cheaper,
2) Miss Leung is the driver,
2) however, whenever you have special request, not so flexible.
3) If parents want to get in car (provided seat available of course, one parent HK$25.00) (This may happen like school sports day.)

Miss Lam's :
1) more expensive
2) Driver and Nanny are very polite and professional,
3) If seats available, parents are free of charge (of course, this special request is, as mentioned, only like sports day, once or twice a year), so maybe not big consideration
4) Most important: when your son gets bigger, he may have to stay at school for post-school activities. Miss Lam can provide this service with additional fee. You may ask her directly for more information.

Thank you so much for your detailed information.

To me, a more caring and polite nanny/driver is very important as this will directly affect my son. But Miss Leung promised my son could get back home at 2:55 in Tsing Yi (the first few stations in TY) while Miss Leung said my son could got off at 3:20 pm. If so, it would be very attractive to choose a van that takes shorter time back home. What I worry is how come they can get back within 25 min. Is it possible? And while I was talking with the two responsible persons of the nanny buses, I also felt their attitudes as what you had discussed.

Hi,

Normally, school buses leave school at around 2:45pm, it takes about 10 minutes from school to Tsing Yi (1st station) only. So, I don't quite know why Miss Lam tells you the school bus arrives at 3:20 pm ... Not that long lah! ^^

Thank you so much for your details. I'll confirm with the bus drivers again. Actually, Miss Leung also promised a return trip from school at 4:00 pm per day at an additional cost. For your experience, will the after-school activities usually end before 4:00? And is it a practice that nearly all P1 students will join the after-school classes?

1) No, school activities normally end at 4:15 to 4:45.

2) As mentioned (when your kid get bigger...), i.e. P1 or P2 students usally don't have that many post school activities.

3) Post school activities on weekdays means for those students who were selected by school teams of sports and music.

4) All those interesting classes are arranged on Saturday mornings.

Oh, I understand now. It depends on whether my son is selected for those activities. And that 4:00 pm is not a good time for the special van service for the return trip. Thank you so much for your information!
