I also received call on Thursdy and my daughter had 2nd interviewed today, sucess. Paid already. School fee is $37xx. We are very happy that we can settle this issue which had been lasting for months. Really killing.

However, their school time is still 7:30a.m. Very early. Trying to get the school bus timetable see when we have to get on/off the school bus. May have to wake up at 6:00a.m.

It's you ! Thank you to tell me someone was not sucess and therefore, we are very careful in answering. My daughter's lucky draw result was very bad. Caton Road Government school. I didn't register. So, with no doubt, I accept the offer from GH.

At this moment, we cannot know how many homework workload after GH changed to full time, but my daughter can seat quite a long time to finish her work. My thinking is, GH is offering almost through-train system, I don't need to headache one more time in secondary. I experienced that even her performance in interview was excllent, there are too many reasons that she can't get seat in top school.

We can share more.

both are good schools.

HF - no school free. (but not sure 80% P6 student can get the seat of HF secondary school)

GH - 80% P6 student can get the seat of GH secondary school.

Understand your concern. Actually, both schools are good. Very difficult to make comment. But, I would like to say that HF is also very competitive and big workload. Maybe you have to forecast whether your daughter can be competitive, always under pressure to fight for a seat in secondary.

It really depends on your daughter's performance.

But, I think that the curriculum of GH is deeper. Bcs I have reviewed the web site from Holy Family, the level just is a standard level. As about GH, I heard that is pre-educated earlier 1 year. And how your daughter will take it easier or diffcult, it's depends on which kindergarden your daughter from.

Hi, everyone,

Sorry, I am late. I will send you all the timetable tomorrow because my scanner at home is down. The timetable is last year but since school haven't changed the school time, should be more or less. But, I called some drivers, they told me from Sept, school will re-structure the school bus, maybe there is surprise.

I read that most stops have to get on at about 6:30-6:40a.m.

Anyway, I promise to do this tomorrow in office for your reference.

以下是我朋友告知我一些資料所以我放棄左 good hope
佢個女响 good hope 讀,讀左好多年,小學至中學,中間不停要學生捐錢(唔係一兩次,係好多次),捐都冇所謂,不過老師會在班上大聲講出學生捐左幾多,有一次佢地捐左好小,老師好大聲講左出黎,令佢個女唔開心左幾日,其實之前都聽過佢地成日會要家長捐錢,不過唔知佢地會咁樣做.
之前打過電話問過佢地學費,最小4千,都OK,不過如果不停要捐錢我就唔係咁鍾意.個人感想,只是將聽到的同大家分享,希望考唔到個D家長都唔好咁失望.

我朋友都冇話強迫,佢只係話每次捐幾多都會响班上讀出姐,所以令佢個女個心好唔舒服,可能佢不停咁捐而佢又係打工仔捐得唔多,所以個女覺得比人咁讀左出黎好唔開心姐,話哂個女大左有自尊心.咁如果你好有錢,每次又捐好多咁米冇所謂,不過我個人覺得我已經比左學費,6年裡面捐一兩次就話姐,可能佢宜家建好新校舍會唔駛再成日捐啦,我從冇話學校強迫,不過一路都好多人話 lee 間學校成日都要捐錢.我唔想個女第時會因金錢上要同人比較而唔開心.

學校唔係"咩都唔知所以連學費都唔駛交住", 因為我地以前P.1都係八月先到學校做交學費、校車 etc 手續，反宜我覺得學校甘做很好，因為可以比Ｄ父母考慮清楚，不用一早白交學費，因為通常很多父母在六、七月仍在等候或考慮中，你交左幾間學費甘慘呀，可否refund呀？如果無就慘過捐錢。另外，我地都係捐過兩次錢，一次"四旬期"＆一次"小母牛"，我都係捐一佰幾十咋，阿女都話老師收左但無逐個讀呀！講真邊有甘多時間喎！總括阿女讀得好開心！課程很有系统，温起書也易於follow。其實很多天主教學校都有呢兩個捐助，係喎，St.Francis都係天主教學校嚟架喎！不過其實老師都話可以唔捐都得，目的只不過是教導小朋友助人的意義.....

Thanks everybody!! but after reading the parents' comment. I am so afraid that my daughter can't go to school so early as we live so far away. Even some kids need to take the school bus at 630 who lives in Tai Kok Tsui. It's so horrible. Why does the school start so early since it is a whole day school? really can't understand. But I still hope that I have a chane to have the interview and let my daughter have one more choice.

GH係一間好學校，如果唔係我都唔會比個女考，不過我個朋友個女讀左幾年，之前佢唔知我考唔考到所以都冇講學校Ｄ野比我聽,不過我打比學校佢地答我個D野就係我親自聽,因為佢地唔知政府會批邊個學費,所以佢地要 hold住咩都答唔到,唯有收左我地個派位註冊証先,我都比左,佢地都收得好快,派左位幾日後就要交,我都打左好多次電話問幾時全日,幾錢學費,不過佢地真係答唔到我,所以我最後揀左聖心.
至於佢地課程深唔深我朋友個女就話OK,唔係好深,我都好鍾意佢地新校舍,不過 St.Francis都有新校舍,所以收到電話後我放棄左聖心揀 St.Francis, 我唔知點解我朋友個女個班主住會讀佢地捐左幾多錢,不過係事實,我尋日見到佢再問佢,佢將成個過程講左比我聽,我唔相信佢講大話,佢媽咪都話佢地都捐左好多次錢,可能當時校舍未起好重要捐.
如果一早知學費幾錢當然月遲交月好啦,不過佢地學費都係我考慮因素,佢唔早D比我知,咁我又要交埋其他私校,因為人地大部份私校都7月要交,咁你唔讀起碼可以早D比返個位出黎比其他人,如果佢地學費要去到5,6千我寧願比個女讀聖士提返啦,所以佢咁遲 confirm有好有唔好 law(不過都唔閞佢地事,係政府衰姐). 咁宜家有媽咪話係3千幾當然可以接受啦,重好抵 tim.
我相信好多父母都想盡快攪掂學校D野,唔會拖到咁長重考慮緊,因為之前已經折騰左成年,早D決定早D可以唔讀的話就比返個位出黎,佢要拖到8月有D人真係會8月至去決定,咁對想要學位D小朋友就唔係咁好.

You are right ! Our class teacher has informed us that the 09/10 school fee is HK$3731 . We will get the school report & school fee slip next week !

Don't worry ! 我女都係讀St Cat，仲有好多同學由St Cat入。GH英文讀高一級，其他都係跟standard，有中數&英數，General Studies 用英文，St Cat K3時個個week都做assessment ，所以係跟到架，其實有Ｄ由其他幼稚園上的同學也跟得很好，GH D 課程好有方向&系統，試前有小Quiz當温習不計分的！P.1 要追兩級英文就小小趕，不過OK的，St Cat D Eng 比較強，所以小女也適應。School 都嚴架，傳统修女school 係甘的，但我聽 her classmates 都話開心，當然不能像幼稚園時到處跑:D ，小學生喇，學做大個女:loveliness: ，祝你女女enjoy the new school life la.....

I dropped the profolio on Jun 08 (two days after the result). I didn't apply Good Hope in last September.
I'm still waiting the call for 2nd interview that I wish!

*"仲有好多同學由St Cat入" May I know around how many classmates came from St Cat in your class? Can you tell us more .....
*Should we be a Catholic for the admission to this school?
*Have St Cat graduates attended many English supplementary classes?
*Have St Cat graduates take many external English exam?

My daughter is 1. We didn't apply in Sep, 08. Drop the profolio on Jun 08, 09 after lucky draw result.
We got the picture drawing on July 02, 09. Still waiting for the result or 2nd interview.
