加拿大式國際學校轉英國式我本身係讀Delia school of Canada...
宜家想轉去South Island school...
but DSC 係canada式...SIS 係英國式
唔知有冇咩problem?? 好似跟唔上..different課程

Hi, how old are you? Just thought you should be old enough to talk to the school directly and that shld be the best way for you to find out. Also that way gives you the most correct answer. You still have 1 or 2 days to enquire before the real holidays start (^-^). Good luck.

Yes, the content of the different subjects/classes might be different. For example, for the same age level, the 2 schools are probably using different books for English, they are probably covering different things in science. But I think the level of education should be quite in par.
I cannot say for everyone, but with the people I know, most do not have huge problems switching curriculum.

i mean sis is 英國式...DSC is canadian...大家有different...唔知會不會跟唔上??

and 其實大家think DSC and SIS ....which one better?

唔知會不會跟唔上?? <=== That was what I meant. Differenct curriculum may cover different content. But I do not think there will be a problem. Do not forget that you need to pass the admission process (interview and written tests, etc.). I think the school would be very selective in choosing a student. If you pass the process, then it means the school thinks you can cope. Of course, when you switch school, there are always other bumps around. You need to try your best to fit in both in studies and socially.

其實大家think DSC and SIS ....which one better? <=== I think generally, people consider ESF schools better than DSC.

Grade 10 in Delia Canada = Year 11 in ESF, that means you have to apply year 11??

Year 11 will need to take GCSE exam, and the students have already selected their subjects in year 10. So don't know if you can really switch to South Island year 11. Or, you may have to repeat one year in their year 10 even if they accept you. You better check with the school first.

My advice. If you like it so much, apply first. Think later.
Not trying to discourage you, but it may not be as easy to pass the admission procedure.
