I had received an e-mail from RC and the school invite my son to attend the interview on 18 June. I would like to ask does any rc parent know what will they need to do during the interview and is there only 1 interview or they need to attend 2nd interview and is it better if both parents can attend the interview and will they ask any questions to the parents???

My son was born on 2004. My interview time is 9 am. Do u know are they going to have group or individual interview???

Hi,

My experience was two years ago you should also check with other threads.

It was a group interview with 4 to 5 kids and one teacher in a room. The teacher asked a few questions like what colour she liked and what what was the picture on the board etc.

When not being asked she was playing toys with other kids.

Parents were invited to stay at the canteen while kids were being "interviewed".

It may be different now.

My daughter's experience was more or less the same as Wingba's description.

My daughter also said the interviewer asked her to draw a picture.

I have an impression that RC tends to put children of the same kindergarten in the same interview group. FYI, my daughter and her classmate were put in the same group.

Hi! Radiomama, is your son studying in Victoria Kindergarten, cos i remember your picture. So will your son go to RC this year, i would like to know will the school interview the parent at the same day, will they ask any questions to the parent, and will they interview the children one by one after the group interview? Thanks for your reply!

Oscarmom,

Ha ha, yes, my son studies in Vic (HMT) and he will promote to RC for year 1 in coming Aug.

For the interview(Y1), all parents wait downstair (in the lobby) and no interview for parents. Take it easy! The interview is easy only if your kid could response to English properly and speak confidently.
