A good teacher is about to retire from my son's school, any idea of the legal limit($$) of a gift that I can buy him? Also any gift suggestions? Many thanks!

Thanks, but anyone knows the money value limit of the gift I can give............I am thinking of around $1,000 to 3,000.

好多年前聽過, over 500元以前的gift 要申報, 吾知依家還係吾係

如果是我, 我會送相薄,吾係zip 入去果d, 係貼上去果d, 有埋comments, 靚一靚果d
入邊放滿學校的回憶, 將佢同你仔/學生的相放入去

Thanks! Maybe I should keep it $500. I don't want him get into trouble as he is retiring. Actually my son has never taken a picture with him, but I hope I can take some with him before term ends.
