有呀，今天收到九龍城聖家電話叫我小朋友去 interview，但由於我小朋友已經派左去九龍塘聖家，所以我就話唔需要啦，所以仲等緊的家長，唔洗心急，你地又多左一個位啦。

我同你一樣在五月尾已寄出portfolio到首三個志願的學校，同樣在16/6收到這兩間通知，安排interview，估計其他學校大約都係這段時間通知可以interview的小朋友。

I didn't chose on 1st and 2nd round as I am not in 41 . She and her friends in the same kindergarten got the same interview at the same day.

They all mentioned (Kowloon City) one for interview, not Kowloon Tong one.
I did dropped the profolio in Kowloon Tong, same case

This year, so many school do the same way (no interview offered due to H1N1 Flu and no vacanies in small class policy).

我都覺佢地你年的小朋友由出世到現在路途都幾曲，03 SARS BB，到左小一，一心諗住 SARS 年出生率低，所以小一位應該多 D 啦，點知又來個小班教學，搞到佢地無左成 7000 個學位，到了現左，又來個 H1N1，搞到佢地幼稚園又無左最後同同學同老師相處的時間，又或者無埋個畢業禮，現在又或者無得 interview 添，佢地都算慘囉 ...

Yes, my daughter is one of applicants who was chosen for interview.

Thanks for your info. You mean about 300 applicants is for knonking door. If yes, it so crazy ar. And, you're sure the 15 seats of list is for knonking door.

But, my daughter performanced so shy in the interview, I think may be failed.

Most people perceive SFA as the top Band 1 school after DGJS, MCS and GH.  HFS (kowloon tong) only at mid-to-low end of band 1, while its secondary is ranked at the boarder line of band 1.  So.. my objective is to stay at SFA to push my daughter to achieve good grades and try MCS's P2 after one year at SFA.

Most of MCS, GH or other top girl schools love to take in SFA students due to their quality and high standard of English.  The quality is ensured.

If I take HFS for one-year and then to MCS for P2 exam, my success rate is low if she run into SFA students to compete in the same school.

If my plan fail for MCS at P2, I still be ensured of their school quality with high standard of English and mandarin.  At P6, I am sure my daughter can get into any top band 1 English School easily.

Also, the major concern for HFS is that my daughter has never studied Chinese in Cantonese but Putonghua.  So,.. it is a good match for me to get her to SFA.

Hi all,

I called 聖家 this afternoon to find out whether they would have changed the Parent-Teacher Meeting on Saturday (27th June 09). Initially, they told me that my daughter will be sitting for one-hour exam while parents will be meeting with the principal and other teachers.

Due to the H1N1 outbreak at the school, they will follow the gov't instruction this evening. I believe this is why the knock-door interview has been delayed as we have not even paid for the deposit on the registration day. Payment will be done on coming Saturday. If I did not turn up for the PTA meeting or my daughter did not sit for the test, then they will consider us forgiving the seat to others.

I guess the interview will be postpont to later if the deposit and test for P1 candidates were not done.

Hope this information would help all of you!

What do you think Our Lady?
Did you compare with Canossa (San Po Kong)?
Did you apply Good Hope?

I haven't applied "GH" and only sent the profile to "Holy Family" and "Holy Angel"

Is Canossa (San Po Kong) a boy/girl school ?? I heard this school but no comment.

I knew some girls graduated from OLP Secondary and the comment is good.

I checked and compared with their secondary school annual report, there are so many schools in WTS are better than Our Lady for HKCEE and HKAL.
What do you think?

我今朝見到張 Name List有31個小朋友, 分兩個課室考試, 我個囡都話數學好易, 中文同英文都有D吾識, 另外我 1st round無"簡"佢 2nd 就填第三志願, 不過我無 copy張form比學校, 係吾係學校自己會check到個小朋友有無填架?

My friend said the original P1 registration (for test; order uniform; school bus...etc) been postponed from Jun 27 to next Sat (Jul 4).

Possible...school may inform results next week & kids can catch up the P1 registration on Jul 4.

Just my guess...not guarantee. Hope you all will receive good news ASAP.

wow, that's mean around 30 students a day for examination.
As per BK, four days interview, so around 120 students already.
How many seat do they got left???
