I notice that G5 students in GT need to take the Flyer exam. So does it mean that GT ll take the result of cambridge YLE exams as one of the considerations of the admission? And how many shields will be consider as "ok" result to show the school? Please comment. Thank you very much

Oh, it's totally unnecessary to enrol the young kids in the public exam. for G1 admission!
If you've read the BK-GT forum thoroughly then you'll know that GT doesn't consider these "certs.", GT prefers if the parents share the same parenting ideas & principles: caring, spending the leisure with the kids, paired reading; focus on developing child's creativity, interests, self confidence instead of drilling, exams.....
Our children attend the public exams through GT , also prepare through normal school lessons. GT parents don't need to arrange extra after-school lessons/drilling. Also, we don't emphasis the result, the nos. of shields among the students & parents; it's not a competition, just an acknowledgement of their standard.

我兩個仔都冇考過YLE, 亦未聽過其他小朋友响幼稚園去考starters.
