第二屆全港學生賽, 報名時講唔到比賽的確實時間, 結果比賽全部安排在上課日, 冇得調時間唯有放棄比賽,損失的何止係報名費啊!
雖然章程說明比賽有機會在上課日,
為何咁多星期六,日唔選擇,
居心可在!

揾$囉!! 咁多家長想個細路出人頭地, 攞左獎去考學校又有幫助又可以威威, 俾D有腦既人捉到心理, 就可以揾到D家長着數, 唔好話人揾笨, 不如檢討下自己點解會俾人揾笨好過喇.....

其實好多比賽都會係上課日，唔係凈係佢呢間機構。
原因係星期六日好多場都full booking。
你諗下音樂節，朗誦節的比賽都係上課日既...
如果撞考試有得調個喎, 我之前係音樂比賽成功調過。

「朗誦及音樂推廣協會」旨在為年青人建立一個公開平台，讓他們透過比賽，認識自己、建立自信、展露才華、挑戰自我，同時亦為他們的努力作出肯定及認同，從而感到自己是社會的一份子。

音樂節又點同,係跨學校既盛事,得到學校既認同,仲好似係非牟利機構,各學校係'派'隊加的,但呢間擺到明就係私人機構搵錢,邊得黎咁多公開比賽丫.....?

最衰就係佢地捉住d無知家長要獎狀既心態囉

評判連評分的標準(比賽規則)也錯解了, 令比賽結果的認受性成疑

「……同時亦為他們的努力作出肯定及認同，……」呢句我有保留,比賽嗰日所見, 新詩、繞口令、古詩、兒歌、講故事全部係得同一個評判，小朋友走馬燈似的，一個接一個，嗰評判做到好似想死哽，到點評、頒獎時嗰評判直情係衣衫不整g上臺,真係戥佢辛苦，哽個狀態做出的評分???總有在有同學朗誦時有工作人員照攞嘢過去問評判，呢d規矩我幼稚園仔都識了la。佢講明冠、亞、季軍要85分以上, 有一組選了5個但冠軍係86分，那其餘４個幾分呢?

我都覺得啲評伴俾分同大會好有問題，好吾公平，頭３名來來去去都係個幾位,好似內定咁.

其實我囡囡個分數係可以拿到優異獎的獎杯,但叫左2位優異獎的小朋友上台後,跟住就冇我囡囡份,當時我吾維意所以當時冇去check到,返到屋企先知吾對路,就打電話去check,點知電話成世都冇人接,send e-mail又成世都吾回覆,到最後好耐用e-mail覆番我的分數都吾係當日個分,本來再想同佢哋理論,但因實在太難contact佢哋,所以放棄左,真係好嬲

,今年係第一次參加,出年一定吾會參加,好黑暗.

May I ask, why is this competition "揾笨" because the competition classes are on school days, but clearly stated in the website?

Also, the mission of the competition is to "encourage" each child to perform, and do their best, and is rewarded with a medal, and a certificate, not talking about 1st place or 2nd place...etc.

As a parent, I send my children to competitions around Hong Kong because I want them to gain the experience of performing in public, NOT because I want them to necessarily get a prize. If they win, that is bonus, but I just want my children to try their best. Isnt' that what we parents are supposed to do ? Unconditional love and support to our children.

So if you enter this competition, why do you necessarily think your child must win ? There are many talented children, and many factors to decide who is winner.

I can't help but see a little bit of bullying this competition as it is a new one from some parents here. I agree with Miss Law321's comments.

If you don't agree with the guidelines and regulations of the competition, then don't enter your child.

Yvonne,

How do you come to the conclusion that the winner was "one of them" ? Each competitor after the competition class can talk to the adjudicator ? ( I recall from my observation).

what center is this ? I didn't know this organizer has a "center" for music? Where is it?

平心而論,這個比賽的而且確十分公平,因為它並沒有自行舉辦任何朗誦訓練班,所有小朋友均可以在一個公平的平台上比賽,盡量表現自己. 不似其他比賽,如"X大""普x會"等另外再舉辦訓練班."x大" 的投訴,可參考今期壹周刊.至於普x會,本人曾聽聞會內老師會私下教學生(收費一點也不便宜, 一般家庭會非常吃力)並叫學生參加其比賽, 強調一定有獎. 其他家長不知情,見仔女都分到"豬肉獎"---(優異獎牌, 每組20個, 如該組少於20人即人人有獎), 便心滿意足地離開,大家有沒有想過得到三甲的小朋友是否實至名歸?或是內定做馬的呢?事實上, 其中小學組的冠軍真的不外如是!(按:小學組是不許家長觀賽, 黑廂作業, 宣佈結果後才叫冠軍作表演)

怪只怪我們一班家長,為子女升學求獎心切, 白白造就了一些立心斂財的人士.

第二屆比上屆已改善不少,始終是初舉辦,如跟校際相比,不太公平吧!上屆的頒獎禮,有機會見到杜葉錫恩女士,一位年邁而值得尊重的長者(聽老一輩的人說,她年輕時專門協助貧苦大眾), 相信她及主辦單位真的希望年輕一輩能發揮潛能.

本人的兒子去年和今年均參加了不同的朗誦比賽, 成績有好有不好,有獎是鼓勵, 無獎也可鍛鍊膽量, 將來再作嘗試.比賽一定有輸有贏, 最緊要是公平!

I watched my son's nursery rhyme group. The winner had TWO prizes, he entered two.

Honestly, we lost with complete RESPECT and agreement to the winners. They were indeed more stand out, and more articulate, and with expression. They are only K1.... yet, I was amazed at their poise, and talent. Out of 100 kids... I wouldn't be able to pick ONE winner... but I think the adjudicator did pick the one who well deserved for it. And if the winner is good at one, it's obvious he has good training, winning more than one is definitely not surprising.

My son 's first try, I was happy he just got to the end of the poem. He carries his medal day and night, he said "I got gold!". I just tell him, "You did ! Good job!!! We try again next year!"

中國青少年藝術節

請問各位家長，有沒有人參加過去年“第三屆中國青少年藝術節”或前年“第二屆中國青少年藝術節”到北京參賽的活動。

孩子參加了今年第四屆香港選拔賽，得了季軍，獲邀去北京參賽，由於費用比較貴，所以想問問有經驗的家長，是否值得去參加。

我覺得pianokc同tcmom講得好中肯，呢個比賽無論個組別有幾多人參加都係得5、6個獎，唔似坊間啲分豬肉獎比賽咁，如果家長諗住參加咗就會攞(或買)到獎就會好失望，其實最緊要係小朋友係比賽中汲取經驗，訓練到自信心已經係好大嘅得著。

I entered my children into this competition, for the VERY reason, it is NOT like HKSMA competition.

HKSMA competition, all the parents care about is winning, and then get recognition from their school. How about the students who work very hard, but didn't win ? I think they deserve a pat on the back, and also a big hug from their parent for trying their best. You know it's not easy to stand on the stage alone with hundreds of people looking at you while you perform, and they all hope you will make a mistake ?

I was at HKSMA's speech competition this year watching my daughter, my daughter didn't win any prize, she got 85, 1st winner was 89.

I heard a parent yell at her son at the elevators at the City Hall, "You are USELESS! You waste my time bringing you here, I took half a day off work, and you didn't even WIN anything!" She took the piece of paper and stuffed it in a bag and dragged the boy into the elevator.

I felt so sorry for the boy.

I NEVER want to do that to my children.
No matter how they do at a performance, I always praise them for having the courage to step up there.

I don't see any logical reason for the ones who complain against this competition.

Schedule- no reason because it's stated clearly.
Winners results- you have no idea how winners are chosen, and just because your child didn't win, doesn't mean the competition was unfair.

i agree with lilyma, pianokc and tcmom.

my child entered a few competitions organised by different organisations.  i really think that this is better than others - more well organised and serious.  i have to say that the winners are really outstanding ones - and all parents were there to see the whole process and prizes were given on the spot - Not like some other competitions, parents had no way to find out how all candidates had performed and winner were announced after the competitions (this is tricky).

besides, this organisation does not have conflict of interest - it doesn't offer any training courses.  you may also notice that their judges are from reputatable institutions such as HKU, VTC, etc.  i do think that this competition is one of the better ones.

i think parents need to observe carefully the guidelines before they enter any competition.
