宣小.
學生程度, 升中派位都比浸聯好.

stephentcleung 想請問吓您選宣小嘅有力論點，事關我正正係今年考到宣小，又抽到間唔差又可直上中學嘅津貼小學，我好想選宣小，但係所有親朋戚友都一面倒叫我地選津小，因為免學費，可上直系中學，１２年唔駛煩，留番D錢栽培個女．．．，我同D朋友傾話唔捨得宣小，D朋友唔係話我曬命就係自尋煩惱，如果我真係選宣小，肯定我會千夫所指，您意下如何呢？

If I were u, I choose 浸聯,Bcos the English level is not lower and APS is too crowed. !:40 Of course, APS is also a good school.the secondary allocation is very good

當年小女的情況和你的差不多,有間41網有中學(不是最Top那一間)收了,最後讀了宣小. 我比較進取,也要看看小孩子的能力吧!
論點只有一個,想讀更好的中學.現在不用煩了.

I will select 浸聯 for 3 reasons:

1) Top seed in Tsuen Wan area
2) No school fee
3) Local famous secondary school is brilliant in Tsuen Wan area, like Tsuen Wan Govt. Secondary.

In additional, I suppose it is in the same area as where you live.

可從幾方面去思考:

1. 要看是那一間津貼小學/中學。(那中學的水平。)

2. 你可/預備付出的資源。(時間和金錢。)

3. 你想你女兒未來達到的發展水準。

If school fee is not an issue, APS is good choice...

1) academic standard is higher than 浸聯

2) the school net of secondary school is better and much more choices than tsuen wan area

If you don't have any other back up offer out of tsuen wan, it is definitely choice 浸聯.

我係浸聯現任家長, 可以講一句: 以津校來說, 它的水平非常高!

我有幫囝囝寫blog, 以下是一段關於英文教材的topic(純粹分享, 不想引起任何事端):
校長深深明白學校要進步，就必須要家校合作，整體提升家長的質素亦是關鍵，所以她密集地安排了許多講座。

學校為今年小一的英文課程大膽使用牛津大學出版社的新教材，一開始不是追求要認識多少個生字，要學多少句子，開學兩個多月只教拼音，這種模式還要持續半年以上，目標是要學生隨手在圖書館取出一本英文書都會讀，傳統學校目標是學會3-5000單字，這一套教材目標是8千甚至無限！
新穎，大膽，校長，厲害呀！學校在星期六舉辦了英文拼音班，由9:30-12:30密集式將小朋友半年要學的內容在3小時內教會家長，兒子之前在太子學過一段時間的PHONICS，不要說他，連我自己都有點混淆了兩邊不同的讀音，老師要我們將之前的全部擦掉，從新開始，好難呀！我要和兒子一齊加油！

Yes, you can feel the spirit and the mission of the school. I've read an article about the Maths teaching in this school. It's written by a senior Maths teacher from China. She had collabaratve lessons with teachers in this school. In her article, she highly appriciates the teachers in this school. I keep it in my office. See if I can find it on the internet.

You're welcome.

Before the new school year, I think you can also spend time to know more about their English new programme.

You may click the right hand corner on this page( see the top part). It's programme called Oxford RWI. The school starts to run this programme this year.

I think it's really a challenge for both the school and the parents. If you know about this programme now, it may help you to prepare your kid.
