Could anyone share your comments about these two nursery schools?

Definitely Heep Yunn, in terms of reputation, campus, facilities, academic achievement, sports, music, etc.

The major difference is Heep Yunn Primary and Secondary schools are government-subsidized, i.e. direct entry cannot be guranteed, whereas St Rose of Lima's Primary and Secondary Schools are private.

After all, both are good, but Heep Yunn is better.

as far as i know, St Rose of Lima's school (both primary and secondary) is a goverment subsized school.  Need to have go through central allocation.

For me, HY and St Rose of Limas are good school with sound academic and religious background.  My personal preference: Heep Yunn as both primary and secondary school shares the same address.

How about St Catherine, Kentville and Christ Church kindergarten schools as compared with Heep Yunn, please advise me.  Being a mother first time, I have no experience at all.

All your mentioned choices are famous schools.  I doubt if there are such a smart child who can secure offer in all those schools.  Christ Church only admits K2 students......and many students can be admited to DGS......so, first choice for most parents targeting DGS.   I have no idea about Kentville, but my friend's girl has an offer from St Catherine and HYS, she intend to choose St Catherine as St Catherine offers her Mandarine/English stream.

Actually, I have no idea about famous kindergarten schools at Kowloon Tong because I lived and studied on HK side in the past.  Those mentioned schools at Kowloon Tong are told by my colleagues.

I plan to try both Kowloon Tong and HK side famous schools, of course, interview will affect the result of enrollment.

It is not easy to be a parent and always be ready to plan their study path.

Did you try other PN such as Victoria?  It seems not so many PN schools for 2-year kids both HK & KLN.  Please advise any famous PN schools both HK & KLN side.  I plan to send my daughter to study PN next year.

Actually, there are a lots of discussions for Victoria and KCS in the forum, you can do more searching to understand how others comment Victoria and KCS.

Sorry, for PN, I don't have too much idea as I ony focus on those PN in North Point, my living area only.  Other than Victoria and KCS offering PN class, I know there is a PN belonging to a church is quite good also......I don't know it's name in English and I don't know how to type Chinese.  If you want to know also, I tell you later when I have the chinese writing pad with me : )

Thanks a lot for your advice.  My daughter is now studying at Tutor Time Wow playgroup at Kowloon Tong.  When she is 2 years old, I will try to apply PN at Kowloon Tong either Creative or Keen Mind because I don't know which famous PN on HK side and Kowloon Tong.

For kindergarten, I will apply another schools either HK side (Central/Western District / Causeway Bay) or Kowloon Tong.  I know more famous kindergarten schools on HK side such as Sacred Heart / St. Paul's Convent / St. Stephen / St. Clare's.

So your kid is studying international calss PN at Kiangsu-Chekiang.  Will you plan to send your kid to apply other kindergarten schools?

If so, your daughter has a very high chance of admission to St Paul Convent.  I had applied St Paul Convent for my girl, of course failed as I am not a Cathlic and not an alumni.  But actually, I have some reservation sending my girl to a KG with most children are girls....I want her to study in an environment with a good balance of girls and boys in KG and primary schol.  Having say this, if St Paul Convent gives my girl the offer, I will likely accept this in the hope of a "through-train" to primary and then secondary school..... to save future headache mah..... but actually, I want her to go to Heep Yunn secondary school. You may ask why I did not try HYS KG for my girl, one reason is it is a pure girl school, another reason is I don't want my girl to travel all the way to school from HK to Kowloon side.
