Why do some students take these exams, what's the use?

1. Use for parents to pride of their kids getting 15 shields in flyer at primary 1.

2. For those low English marks students to prove their English standard. Some students get 60% in P4 and P5 exams can get 15 shields in flyer.

Otherwise, not much use.

For apply some band 1 primary school.

well, well, so...... when one is already in primary 1 or primary 2, there's really no use... I just thought there are always "higher" levels of exam, the course materials are expensive and so do some of the courses in the market. Just really could not understand..... or kids could master their English during such courses? What about other tailor-made courses on a specific area, like reading and comprehension, grammar etc?
