My son is studying K1 in HLYS now, do we have a chance to transfer my son to Year 1 in SJS after K3?Do they accept non ESF kindergarten?

1. HLYIS and ESF 無K3,
2. K1, K2, Y1........
3. SJS they accept non ESF K2.

As far as I know, everybody in the appropiate age group can apply ESF primary one; and It was free of charge (except PIS)!
Of course, children from ESF kinda should have higher priority for interview within the same Category.

Just curious to know why you are thinking of change after just joining HLYS for K1? or SJS is already your original target?

HLYS for K1 and K2 is good but from year 1 I heard that SJS is better then HLYS,is it correct? We live in Sheung Shui,so HLYS is closer.

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity.
Sorry that I'm not in the position to comment which one is better unless I have children studying/studied in both schools.
Anyway, don't miss the central application period of ESF this year.
While hearing SJS is good, u may also hear that competition within ESF schools are very keen, especially for Cat 2 non-ESF children.
Only suggestion I can give is to spend more application fee to apply a few more IS, if you have decided to let your child to go on IS stream. Good Luck!

I have another kid(4 months old), I am thinking which kinder I should put him in.

sorry for being confused. My children are not in these 2 schools.
Maybe other parents can help...
Sibling also has priority for interview in ESF system.
If u are thinking of ESF, ESF kindergarten should be on top of your list for your baby.
Also, my experience told me that putting both children in the same campus makes life easier...
