有冇媽媽俾小朋友參加過YMCA english adv camp ??
開唔開心?
英文有冇進步到?
囝囝(K2)未夠5歲佢地接唔接受?

妳可以join 5-8 year果d camp.

I joined their Easter 5-day Camp this year. My child was very happy through out the week. But dont expect too much on the learning side as it is only 5 days. There were 1 or 2 non chinese speaking children joining the camp but most of them were local kids so it wasnt entirely an English environment. All the instructors spoke good English though. They were young, energetic and friendly. If you are busy and hv no time to look after your child all the time, then definitely this is a good place to go as it is from 9 - 4:30pm.

Man04, if you child is 5 or above and is used to full day kindergarten / nursery, then I think shld be ok.

First or 2nd day might be zonked because of meeting new friends and adjusting new environment etc., but from the 3rd day they wl get a hang of it.. and shld be able to enjoy. But then it also depends on yr child's personality too.

請問上課時小朋友之間是否會說英語呢?

我小朋友英文只是很普通那種, 要用英文同小朋友play 基本上是不可以的.

但因為只有英文個camp arm 時間, 所以現在唸緊報不報好. 其實我只係想佢可以開開心心咁play, 並沒有唸過要佢學英文的

YMCA對年齡要求好嚴謹, 不夠歲數不會接受報名.

如果你只是想小朋友開開心心玩吓, ymca的活動絕對不會今你失望. 但我反而担心年齡的差異太大, 5歲同8歲真是不同玩法, 如果同組多大的小朋友, 不知會否有影響,我記得你的小朋友只是5歲到, 我囡囡都是差不多大, 我會等遲些先考慮, 但大仔就有玩, 因我覺得年齡差異的問題對大d的小朋友影響不大.

oh thank you everyone's reply~
i am thinking joinning Eng Adv because they have english lesson and got teacher speak english with them whole day , which is a good environment for my son to learn english.
they have alot of activities in camp, like rock climbing, swimming, ball games...etc will it be too hurt to younger children??

不是想掃你興, 但你話囝囝不夠5歲, 以我所知, ymca不夠年齡是不接受報名的, 你還是先check清楚才安排.

我琴日打左去問囝囝9月生日亮就5歲可唔可以參加,佢話只要佢英文能力OK, and 佢有基本照顧自己既能力就可以

所以我會幫囝囝報１個禮拜睇下佢識唔識認，如果佢開心我就會報多幾個俾佢玩，不過到時會唔會冇位？
