其實我都成日聽到D人話某校(多數係名校)比起巳前差左, 但實質佢地既子女並唔係入讀呢D學校, 問佢地邊方面差左佢地就話都係聽人講並不太清楚o
所以我地自己一定要有分析能力唔好人講你就信, 同埋d人話名校學生既家長係好自私, 我相信自私既人唔會只是局限於(名校學生既家長), 因女兒今年9月入讀小一, 近來聽到太多人說某些名校點樣點樣唔好, 但有想盡辦法希望自己小朋友可以入讀(如計劃 knok door) , 所以覺得好奇怪 ......

但事實人既質數同(媽咪)o個代比就一定差左囉(細個時見到媽咪好努力工作回家後又好忙碌地做家務, 佢重有時間整d家鄉食物比左鄰右里一起分享) 所以我要時時刻刻提醒自己身教真係好重要希望自己做得好d比個好榜樣d小朋友, 希望小朋友有良好既品格 ........... sorry 離哂題

聽講Maryknoll除了中文科外, 其他都是用英語上課, 包括數學同體育, 而St.Mary 就只是英文及science科是用英語, 其他科是廣東話授課, 那是否Maryknoll的英文程度會較高呢?

I read the annual report of St. Mary 2007-2008 (you can find it in their school net). Although they did not list out all the grades and % of their students' results in HKAL and HKCEE, they highlighted the grade (A-C) and % in some subjects in both public exams. They also showed the % and no. of students in getting 14 marks or above (around 181 students), how many students studied F6 in the same school and the % of students got a seat in university (over 97% ~).
It impressed me that 97% of their girls got (must over 90%, I forget the details) grade A-C in Eng. (HKCEE).

It depends how the parents thought about the importance of listening and oral English. If so, Marymount is a better choice. And I'll consider location and distance from home very crucial.

因為好多人都話st.mary好多功課,very hard to study!!咁marymount呢?這間有咩好呀?

Before I have a summer intern assistant from Marymount, she's just graduated from the Chinese University Arts Faculty. Her English is pretty good but a bit arrogant. She mentioned their school highly encouraged arts area. Her elder sister also graduated from the Chinese University and at that time she's taking a master drama course.
So my impression of St. Mary's is more academic and Marymount is more dynamic. I chose St. Mary for my daughter this year since Marymount's location is too far from my home. Since I myself also studied arts before, I actually prefer Marymount.

Although I agree that St. Mary girls are pretty modest, I don't think MCS girls are 花姿招展 at all. In fact I can see most of the MCS girls are just as sober.

名校都有學生要re-seat, 如Maryknoll 在升P.2時都有D學生出咗黎, 即P.2時收讀第2 D學校嘅學生, 而St. Mary's 亦有學生留班. 冇計, 3間都係派位嘅, 學生D能力係參差, 讀名校都要努力架。

To me, the three schools are top schools.  But I would choose St. Mary's because it is a one-dragon school.

Sorry to disturb you all. You are comparing these three top schools and I am also hungry for them, but my daughter who is 4 years old is weak at English. So, I am now very busy at finding a good private English tutor for her. Do you have any recommendation? I have been finding for long time, but in vain. So, please...... please..........

三間都好好好,入是但一間=中六合彩二獎.係都要比既,Maryknoll最好.
但比我揀,我揀Marymount.
冇鬥名牌,錢,旅行,名車接放學.
