Hi,
No, school doesn't join scholastic bookclub as I know. Actually I don't pay too much in buying readers for my kid. There is class library in class and school library. My kid borrows books either from class or school library. We borrow books from public library too. Save $ and save the environment. I buy books for them only for those could not find in the libraries such as English comics. As I know, the class library divides the readers in difference levels according to difference colors. The kids choose their readers according to their own level, of course I heard that teachers give advise too.
For the BookMax scheme, school bought readers and deliver to kids according to the curriculum. If the module is about natural disaster, school deliver readers related to the natural disaster. There are Chinese BookMax too. For me, the readers selected by school are so..... good.

Thanks for the reply.
The book fee is very reasonable.
May I know a bit more about Book Max Scheme?
Does the school join scholastic bookclub?
Thanks,
