Actually there is no "standard" price for a private English tutor. It really depends on the education background and teachng experience of the tutors. Don't think that it's cheaper if the kid is only in K3, I can tell that it's much more difficult to teach kindergarten kids than primary and secondary students. Last year, I taught a K3 boy and I can tell I really spent lots of time preparing activities and worksheets (easy, funny and useful). Maybe I need fifteen minutes for preparing a worksheet for a F1 kid and he may finish it within half an hour. However, it takes me more than half an hour to decide a ws for a K3 kid and he may take a few minutes to finish.
Moreover, I think most U students would not / cannot provide tuition to kindergarten students as they may not be able to take care of the kids who are so young. They cannot keep asking them doing homework, dictation, ws or exercises etc.
It could be around $200 per hour, but of course, depending the tutors.
