1) Thank you for your teaching to Peter.
2) Thank you for your teaching Peter.

Which one is correct? Please advise.
Thank you very much.

The word teaching in sentence (1) is a gerund as a noun, but that in (2) is a present participial as an adjective to modifiy the proper name Peter.

I show you the correct answer, don't I ?

Do you want to say:
Thank you for your teaching, Peter. (This means Peter taught you something maybe)
or
Thank you for teaching Peter. (This means someone taught Peter something)

See which one do you want to say.

Let's us have a thought :-

1) Thank you for your teaching to Peter
     -Thank you for   what ?
-Thank you for   something(an object/a noun)
-Thank you for   something good to Peter
-"Teaching" is a Gerund, a regular verb "teach"
+ ing formed as a noun.

2) Thank you for your teaching Peter
     -Thank you for    what ?
-Thank you for    a person (your teaching Peter)
-"Teaching" is a present participial being used,
it is to modifiy the proper noun Peter.  Do
you still remember what the difference
between "a fallen leaf" and a falling leave is?
-Thank you for your teaching Peter.
     -中文意思是「感謝    你的正在教導中之彼得。」
     -You要感謝人家(施的事情—給You)他的正在教導
       中之彼得(an object—It belonged to him
       before )
-This (No.2) sentence is a Chinese English .
