What is the meaning of banding % to a primary school?

If the school have 50% of students going to band 1 secondary schools, it is good enough?

Does it mean that if a child can get the result of above average can be allocated to a band 1 school?

Is this banding % already included those students accepted in Round 1?

Sorry for so many questions because I'm now looking for a primary school for my child.

If a primary school has 100 studetns and 50% are bank 1. The top 50 students are bank 1 students. Most of the bank 1 students can get in the so-called bank 1 secodnary schools, but some may be allocated to the bank 2 schools.

Even band 1 students cannot find a place in a band 1 school? why? do you mean that even band 2 students will compete for the band 1 schools as well or just because there are not enough school places in band 1 secondary schools?

Will a student know about his/her banding before the allocation?

因為在某些區份，BAND 1 學生數量比當區的英中學位(計理他區提供的)多出很多，如屯門、西貢、元朗等，故 BAND 1生有不小的機會會分配到中中。

不過，呢D區份，BAND 2 生係唔會爭到英中位的。

Anyone know any good band 1 secondary schools for the school net of Tai Kok Tsui/ Yau Mai Tai ?

If my primary school has 50% band 1 allocation, is it good enough (easy or difficult) to enter such good band 1 school? Because I don't know for how much % should be counted as a good.
Sorry for so many questions again.
