Hi Belinda,

My son is studying in Creative Kinder which is more concentrated on Chinese, sometimes I'm afraid he may need some times to adjust to P1 as this is English and Putonghua. Do you have similar concern?

mmmmama,

My son is studying in York in Kowloon Tong. His listening is good and can speak simple English. As I changed a Philippine maid, he starts to speak more English now. He also attended the Cambridge course in York and will have the starter test in March.

Don't worry. He will adapt it anyway. My brother-in-law's son is studying in Creative Kinder K2 too. Is your son in the Shatin branch?

Dear bblaw,

I know there are many negative comments on A-School but those are from the people who don't really know this school.  And those comments are all history now.  I cannot say it is a perfect school but it runs much better now.

I heard directly from the existing parents of the good thing of it.  And I see the performance of the students inside and outside the school myself.  So I think better not to believe the rumor but to observe it yourself.

The new head principal was appointed twice the principal of the Hong Kong International School in Hong Kong Island.  He has much experience to benefit A-School.  So I believe it will become better and better.

It is 香港浸會大學附屬學校王錦輝中小學 in Shek Mun, Shatin.

My son is studying in Kln Tong, the main school. He is also attending the Cambridge Playway to English course and Phonics course. How about Putonghua, can your son understand? My son starts to learn this in K3, thinking whether to put him in Putonghua course.

Hi mmmmama,

My son has PTH class in York since K1. He can only speak little PTH but he likes to sing the 國歌, haha... I have never test him of his PTH so I don't know how good he is on this. Does your son enjoy speaking PTH? You may pick a course for him if he is interested and time is available. For me, as my son already has 2 swimming lessons on Mondays and Fridays, EPGY course in York and Tom Lee course on Saturdays. So I will not enrol anymore course for him. We want to keep Sundays as our family day.

No worry about your son's ability. He will be fine. When did he born, begining or end of the year? My son was born in October 03. Small boy.
