Can anyone tell me the details?

Last year my girl go to interview and she is now in R2, the interview included:
- ask the child to draw and ask her what is it
- see whether a child know colour and big / small
- listen to a story
The interview is easy, no need to be worry. The school just expect the child can understand English.

The teacher didn't ask any question, she just want to observe the child. ?

ICS need to pay the depenture, right? How much it is for R1 ?

Students need to pay depenture in elementary level, not R1. Now is 190,000 for the first child.

Dear hoeve,

my husband and I have just been to the school visit. We love the strong Christian background there.

Thank you so much for sharing the content of the interview. :)

Understand that the school will only teach phonics in R2. Would u mind advising what particular phonics program is the school using?

btw, the principal told us that owing to school fee suspension in the past few yrs, it is v. likely that the school will increase fee next yr.

Hi bakusensei,
I'd love to share about ICS since I really think it is an extreme good schoolwith quality Christian education that I think it's probably not existing in any other school in HK.
About phonics, in R2, children maining learn about the sound of consonant (but in R1 the teacher already emphasis about the relationship btw the sound and the written form of words). Sorry that I forget the name of the phonic programme since I don't mind anyway. I just remember it is not letterland nor jolly phonic which is very popular among kindergarten in HK.
For the school, I think there is a very high chance for the school to increase next year. I think the school fee for kindergarten has a need to increase coz the class size is small. Each class has one teacher and one helper. Did you ask the school about this issue?

yes, must be 3 or above on 1 Sep.
