我今日打電話去SPC反映我嘅不滿，當然唔係投訴，有個女人答：「同事可能誤會你想報2010年小一，所以叫你遲d寄信…暫時都唔會再有位…」

雖然我報名都未必入到，但都未至於比人亂點喇！連報名嘅機會都無！
不如你都打電話去反映，等佢地檢討一下，可能會in埋我地呢！

基本上全年皆可叩門，但提議選擇在政府每年小一自行收生和統一派位結果公佈前，或結果公佈後一兩天。一封頭為小學校長修女的英文信，下款是各位家長，此自薦信可連同小朋友的”個人資料集”寄給小學校長。若是親身遞交，可到小學部門口按鐘，將信件和資料交給”應門”的”嬸嬸”。自薦信內請清楚寫下日間聯絡電話，包括住宅和手提電話號碼，然後耐心等待。部份叩門的家長包括非天主教徒將獲校務處致電通知面試日期和時間。

面試當天會採用小組面見形式，家長和各自的小朋友在約定時間到達小學部地下，那時會填寫正式的入學申請表，並繳交數十元的申請費，約有任何推薦信，這是最後時刻遞交了。有些家長會打扮得十分隆重，或者會盤算自己如何和校長交談，甚至準備小朋友的作品、功課，但一切皆是徒然。時候一到，各位小朋友將會排隊拾級而上，一起面見校長，各位家長則留在地下等候，Sister (校長)只會面試小朋友。面試結果即取錄與否將會數天內發信通知。小二或以上插班生當然有少數，但還是在小一叩門比較容易

分享幾年前一件往事
我就住spc隔離, 有日返工前, 親身去spc交信, ”應門”的”嬸嬸”問我黎做咩, 我話想交封小一入學信去校務處, 佢話早會中, 唔入得去.......我明白!! 於是我禮貌地請嬸嬸幫我拎入去校務處, 嬸嬸就好冷漠地問我, 交俾邊個架??? 佢話左收架拿!!!
的確, 我係無問過校務處收唔收, 不過有云"過門都係客", 唔駛咁態度掛?
同各位一樣, 我係由9月開始交去的, 之後既.....為左唔想食閉門羹, 我唯有寄去! 11月, 1月, 6月, 每次都係果個standard reply, 我地無位唔收生, 我都係上bk至知原來有人已經interview左

小女剛上P1, 是最後一屆STS幼稚園畢業生, 是第二輪統一派位派到STS教堂斜對面那所convent school的. 第一輪自行時也有叩門SPC, 亦收到回函要六月派位後再試(最後沒有再試了)

2002年一眾媽媽都應在去年選擇自己心儀的學校類型了.

都不可以這樣說。

以我所認識讀緊SPC的學生都不是「叻到會飛」那種，但大致上都一定是有笑臉和有禮貌。我有個鄰居於三年前都只是六月份有得面試，之後入讀SPC，她不是教徒。

SPC給我的感覺都是很正面的，我甚至是欣賞她，可能是教會學校，或者她是想把機會留給有真正需要又合適的小女孩吧！有時太有錢的人反而不獲面試，這是我有個朋友說的，她說由SPN至SPC都不理她，真有原則。

「以神職人員為校長的天主教學校是不會讓人失望，只要她做得到（有沒有學額）和小朋友派了那所小學，只要有學位空缺，我想修女校長會給最需要的小朋友。」

我同意以上這一點。

All the people from SPC I met or talked to were polite.

For those disappointed moms here with active girls, there should be no regrets for not getting a chance to have interview. Having learned more about SPC from parents and its student, I conclude that the school's rules are too strict for my active and talkative girl and I think there should be more mordenised ways to get disciplines done. I don't really think punishment is an effective and positive way.

原來我地都收到信(本應星期一就知, 不過無開信箱) . waiting list too. 9/1 interview, 9/1 出信. 真有效率.

From all the students i know in SPC, they are talkative and active. Though the school emphaised on training the character of the student , the students love the school and are happy to go to school everyday. SPC is a good school in the sense that they can accept both active and shine girls. Besides, their english is very good. That's why so many people wanted to get their girls in in Hong Kong Island.

每間學校總有成績「一般」的學生，正如屋邨學校卻有很叻的學生一樣。我又沒有說SPC學生很差，我只是回應有人誤會「是否有得面試的學生都是很出色地叻」的呢？所以我只是說「以我所認識」讀緊SPC的學生，為何我會知那女孩的程度，我覺得我不需在此向你「報告」吧！

如果連我如此善意的分享都睇唔過眼，要去用惡意說話去傷害別人的話，讀到名校又如何？讀到書但培養不到品格，哀哉！對SPC有點失望，校長應在選學生之餘，選埋家長。

相信此君的言行是非常exceptional的case，每次有親spc的topic，她/他的發言都好激!

我以前都有你的睇法，就因為某個家長而對這間學校有些偏見，但最近接觸多了spc的家長，發覺大部份都很有修養很nice的。

其實本來我不想再作回應，但既然有人為了「叻到會飛」一詞而耿耿於懷......

其實中國人寫文章總愛咬文嚼字，又喜歡用誇張一點的言詞去讓人容易理解意思；譬如，我們對著那些一朝得志、招搖過市的人，我們或會說：「得戚得佢呀！係度鬆毛鬆翼。」咁人類又不是离鳥，何來毛翼去鬆呢？又以最近某電視劇的金句：「一言既出、駟馬難追。」說話又如何用馬去追回來的呢？所以S君算是在「叻到會飛」一詞上鑽了牛角尖，捉錯用神，太執著啦。

回應Sindy所說：「以我所知，係見ｄ超能人．．．可能你囡囡只係叻．．．」

我覺得Sindy都不是有惡意去批評SPC的選學生準則。心水清的話，甚至可以知道SPC不是絕對要選些「超能人」或只是「見ｄ超能人」，或者Sindy可能只是想安慰沒有獲安排面試的家長。咁「超能人」是否指超人？即Superman？咁真的是「叻到會飛」啦！

I believe there're some 「叻到會飛」(or in my own words "absolulte outstanding" girls and as well as average or pool ones in Convent, this is just like all other good and famous schools. My friend's younger sister was the absolute outstanding girl in convent some years ago. How oustanding she was? eg. She was the ony chosen in the school to represent HK to join an international event at the great wall of Beijing, together with many other outstanding students from different countries, along with Chinese officials (prime minster). Her academic results was sufficient enough to get admitted to some of the US top U (e.g. MIT, that's her family history ). However, she is so humble that she said an oustanding girl from convent would be like those "above average" girl in DGS, I remembered she compared the results in terms of admission rates to the world's top uni. This girl eventually didn't choose to fly to the states for top quality Uni but stay at HKU. I don't know how and don't know why we need to qualify "「叻到會飛」scientifically. But I believe there're some and many students who are academically sound but humble about themselves, and they may not study at those world top uni, but they are actually extraordinary outstanding.

I also received the call, same day same time. According to some old threads, they are group interviews....

St Paul's Convent 在7月7號已進行P1入學註冊（要交9月份學費$2xxx），有之前已收咗嘅學生因有更好的選擇（Maryknoll, Marymount, St.Mary, St. Stephen's Girls', St Paul Co-Edu, 女拔）而放返D學位出嚟。所以SPC現在開始call waiting list及interview外面的學生。

I have been a private tutor for a convent’s girl since she was P5 until F.3 (mainly on Maths)
It was about 13 years ago. I still remembered their English level is not extremely high.
That’s what they learnt is equivalent to the standard of P.5 at that time, not a form higher.
My students’ result is so so, she got 17 marks in HKCEE and is able to continue her study at SPC.
She then left before A level and study in UK.
I have a cousin, who is 1 form older than my student.
She got 25 marks in HKCEE, got some A’s and B’s and C’s in A level, proceeded her study in UK.
Now she got full scholarship for her PHD study in UK.
SPC secondary attracts many top and bright students from other primary schools.
Generally, they would accept all the graduates from their primary unless they are too bad to accept.

Actually, I already sent 3 letters before (last year Sept, Oct and April 2009) , I got rejected letter on Sept and no response on 2nd and 3rd time. Again, I sent portfolio and letter on before the release result of P1 allocation (around the first week of June) , then I got phone call for interview . Yes, I'm Catholic. Anyway, I know that it may have a lot of people to interview and chance is very small, anyway, good try. Good luck to all of you.

My daughter just finished the interview today. I saw that there have a lot of people to interview, because 15mins in one group, each group have around 4~5 kids. So, I think that the chance is very very small.

Not sure when will know the result. The teacher just said that they will contact you as soon as possible if you get it.
Also, I don't know what the criteria to choose the student ?! Anyway, good luck.

I just called the school and the lady said the result will send to us via mail. The letters are just sent out today.

I also called just now.
My girl is in waiting list after the interview in Jan. The lady said that she would call us if there is vancacy.
We also received a letter few days after the interview and as far as I know, most girls are in waiting list.

My daughter is going to be in K3 for 09/10 and a small kid (born in Dec). I understand for K1-K3, they don't like to accept small kids (my daughter was of course rejected when she applied K1 two years ago) but I would like to check whether this is the same situation for P1. I want to help my daughter to apply for P1. Is this hopeless or still worth to try? Any comments.

The school seems put all unsucessful candidates on waiting list. They put a lot of efforts to interview the girls vs last few years. Really wanna know how many seats the school can offer to outsiders.

I don't know how come they thru mail to let the applicant to know the result. In fact, my friend's daugther got the offer was thru by phone on Jan. So, that mean if we don't receive the call yet, we must put on the waiting list only ? :<
