Even though Pui Ching may not be our top priority, but can't help it to check my mailbox everyday this week! Since from previous experiences with other kinder, I seems to receive the letter earlier than others (with unknown reasons).

I will continue to check my mailbox and let you all know if I receive the letter! Good luck to all of you!

Well, I can't really tell until all the results are announced yet, since will review all the pros and cons based on all the options available. So many factors to consider: kindergarten's teaching quality, environment, location, any linked primary and secondary schools......

still have more interviews to come and more results to announced...... couple more months to wait

其實都好睇你住的地方是什麼時候派信的，若你住的地方是早上派信，那可能明天才能收到。若住的地方是下午派信，那就有機會收到 (我個朋友在郵政總局工作的，他告訴我的)。當然，還要看看培正的信是否早上一早就寄還是星期四晚已寄。

Yes, agree with you. Mails are delivered to my area in the morning only. I have got letters ahead of time from a few other kindergartens which I think they actually sent them out before the date they posted. As a result, I can receive them earlier. But not the case for Pui Ching, I guess.

I am sorry but Pui Ching is not our first choice. I think I shouldn't said much since I think it is many people's top choice. I totally agree it is a good school too, but my preferences are kindergartens with all-girls primary and secondary.

I have two daughters so have to consider a more suitable path for them.

Somebody tell me that if your children is the first one to come out after interview and he/she is also hand in hand with the teacher. Then, he/she will be accepted by the teacher.

Hi Candy,

   For academic training to kids, I think definitely KV is my top choice.  However, the down side is need to be trouble again 3 years later for primary school.  I don't mind to apply private or DSS, however, there are very limited selections.

   Pui Ching is just one of the many kindergartens I have applied which have linked primary schools.  My daughter has also interviewed at SH and will have interview with SPK next week.  I think we will prefer these two.

   At the end, I would love to let my kids study at KV.  But it is also important to consider the 12 years after the kindergarten.  Too soon to say since there are still many results to be announced yet.  Will decide later.

Your daughter's interview was on the first day? The second day was less interviewees. Be more accurate, it's about 2400 - 2500 applications.

don't believe this. According to my daughter's experience, from the acceptance list that we have seen on the registration day, there were cases that more than 10 numbers were skipped. It means that there was no applicants were accepted in some sessions. However, I am sure the teachers would hand in a kid when they came out from the interview room.

Yes, mine was the first day. So, that was just an estimate. If you are in the second day, then should be able to better know where they end!

I think the number you mentioned is reasonable. It's not going to be a small number anyway. :D

oh, 其實我都唔記得我係第一日定第二日, 但我一入去就同D 老師同嬸嬸傾計, 因為我大女係PC生, 係同佢地閒談中得知大約的報名數和面試安排。

今次細仔考都無大女時咁緊張, 去到都唔似係面試, 個仔可能成日去, 等面試時成日跑來跑去, 一陣就上左課室, 仲要係第一批就入去見, 頭尾唔使廿分鐘已可以離開。

Congratulations to you and your child!

I just received the letter from Pui Ching too. Accept AM, quite a surprise to me actually. I thought even if accept will be PM since my daughter is super small (end of Aug 06).

It's a happy news anyway! But will still unsure whether to attend, but I will pay deposit anyway, just like the others. Keep the option open. Still two more interviews and three more results to be announced!

培正唔會有太多WAITING LIST, 要等要7月係因為到果時先會多人比左留位費而唔讀的真實空缺出現。收到連留位費都唔交的唔會太多人架!
