I just called the school the staff said that they neither sent out any acceptance calls nor letters yet, all confirmation tobe advised before Chinese New Year. This is what I just got the latest info from school.

我上個星期才交表，昨天收到電話，下個星期才去interview. 想請問各位:
1.是否要穿校服還時平時便服呢?
2. 面試是用英文交談還是中文呢?
3. 家長是否需要面試呢?用英文還是中文呢?
有否家長幫忙解答呢?萬分感激。

1. I think the principal is not too concern about the dressing code. He's quite open-minded.
2. Interview in English first and invite parents to talk.
3. Talk in Cantonese with parents.

Dear sunnytiffany

Me too. I still not received yet. I don't know whether it's good news or not. They said, if interviewed on Dec they already confirmed by call if accepted. By the way, any failed applicants already sent out by letter to reject. If we still not received the letter that means we are still on waiting list subject the accepted applicants release their seats. Hope we all can get the call of acceptance soonest. Good Luck!

not every applicants arrange for interview. They still accepting the application forms I do think they want to choose the best.

你好我剛加入的對這學校也感興趣。但剛瀏覽這校的網站見到招請vice principal 是否老師同高層流失比較大?聽網友說之前已轉principal。點解會這樣快?

哦這麼奇怪，我星期二都見到他。怪不得今天我仔說他同學去面試時見不到他了，等我打去學校了解吓。之前轉校長聽說是退休。

I have no doubt because hkuga primary also has 2 vice principals. To cope with increasing no. of pupils (around 160 P6 students will join in 2009 Sept), hkuga College needs to put more manpower to take care of school affair and curriculum development.

點解佢地重不停的收生,無deadline?好似唔係太公平。若果已full 就唔好叫人再信寄去。有嘗試打電話問下，但佢地話由上年十月到依家仍然收緊學生，但學位不多差不多full la.佢地收幾多學生呢?又話有d on waiting lists, 是否想收取多些application fee呢？寄form去唔知係咪白費??

剛剛打電話比 HKUGAC 問面試結果, 只可以 on waiting list, 有d失望; 因為面試時校長話"收咗"我個小朋友, 原來"收咗"係指 "沒有reject"。

不過話時話, 校長每個學生都親自見15-20分鐘, 咁認真去了解小朋友嘅能力同性格, 間學校點會教唔好d學生?

如果真係無得入, 唯有努力扣門啦。

其實你已得到答案。學位不多差不多full ，即是未full。

Q:點解佢地重不停的收生?
A:因學位未full。

Q:佢地收幾多學生呢?
A:在另一topic說50-60人。

Q:寄form去唔知係咪白費?
A:唔會，因就算學位已full，還是會有人考倒其他學校而放棄學位。

My child attended interview by the Vice-Principal (not the Principal himself like the cases here) around Christmas last year. During the interview, the VP re-iterated that if my child was not accepted, it was not the problem of my child. So, I think the chance is very slim. The VP said that result would be available in about two-week but I have not received any notification yet. Is there anybody with similar experience and what is the possible reason? Thank you for sharing.

我check 過我仔都係waiting list但見Principal 時佢話收左我地就唔好又轉學校。我地都點頭示意，當時話十二月會電話通知，見無回音再問就話二月中。但依家再問admin又話要等三至四月份唔得就寄信通知。奇怪是我仔同學成績一般也有得in(無乜專長)。上星期打佢去問佢地話今年只開一班即30 人唔係60人wor。會不停in 到六、七月為止。但無正確日子唔知要in到幾時先停。如果收30人應早confirm晒la點解重要in 到六、七月. 行政有d亂。第一次申請我真係唔知直資要等咁內。好在下星期有其它直資in 都係唔理佢la!!!

學校都好為難架
學校當然想收最好, 但最好既留位之後又未必揀佢, 少少留位費對家長黎講真係唔算係咩, 有d人真係鐘意hold住hold住, 唔到9月都唔決定
早收, d家長又concern要放棄抽獎, 唔敢要(始終唔係一線名校)遲收, d好學生又俾人收晒
hkugac每年都係咁, 睇arm既就即刻有通知, 唔係即arm既就落waitlist(有無reject我又唔清楚)
之前有傳聞話有私校出左一批收生信, 有d waitlist, 其他reject, 點知攪攪下無人黎, 唯有call之前reject左既學生, 都幾尷尬, 所以而家d學校, 唔係太差都落waitlist lor!

你講得好啱,學校同學生,的確係你揀我,我揀你,band 1頭的學生就算多次放棄直資學校的學位,最後叩門,學校都願意收.

相反若是band 3學生,就算家長又跪又求,學校都未必願意俾個位你的,成績與誠意,學校必定揀成績的.

唔想變成籮底橙,只是被人揀,真係要努力讀書呀.

I know a kid also registered with hkugac. He had high chance to get in Queen's College because he is a bank 1 student and studying at QC's linked primary school.

有好的通知, 一定要將手上的直資放番出來
呢樣對學校來講就好d
唔洗等到開學時原來無學生來
不過, band 1 生 7月放榜後會再叩門搵更好的
