Dear Parents,

Is there any compulsory learning of musical instrumnet required? If so, can piano be accepted?

Educationists advoate the learning of music can help the brain development. However, my boy is not keen in this area. He is in P1 and he does not learn any musical instrument at the moment. I would say it is a "nice to learn" but not a "must learn".

So glad to learn about this as my kid has been learning piano for a year and I don't need to change/add one more item to him.
