好開心, 今日收到信了. 亞仔明年會和姐姐一齊返根德園. 嘻嘻! 我在幻想他們一齊手拉手上校車, 都好鬼開心.

Hi,
My son has been accepted to KV (Doset campus) am class, do you know the difference between Dorset campus and Kent. I think Kent one is more convienent.

Kent Road嘅校舍(近火車站)較細,只係有K1嘅學生,而Dorset Road相信大家interview都去過,大好多,有K1-K3嘅學生。所以,如K1喺Kent Road,升K2時都要過Dorset嗰邊。而你小朋友K1喺Dorset,即未來3年都會喺Dorset。

我個仔都係多實道AM喎. 如果俾我選, 我鐘意根德道多D. 亞囡舊年係根德道讀K1A, 我超級極度鐘意個班房, 兩邊落地玻璃, 感覺好開揚舒服.

加上K1學期尾, 老師又會同佢地講, 大個女, 出年要返大根德園, 暑假要買定水壺, 筆袋啦! 攪到我個囡暑期都有時想返學. 3年讀兩個校舍, 好鬼抵.

不過, 依家佢兩個同一個校舍, 開PARTY/ 家長日都方便D, 唔駛我兩邊跑.

My son also got accepted kent road pm class, i thought dorset road is better since we interview there and the school is bigger, and i thought they put all top students (very good performance) to dorset road and then put the other in kent road, am i wrong...

Hi candytosy, will u pay the registration by yourself on the dec 13th, are u going to pay the school bus registration fees on that day too???

I don't thing that dorset road school is for top student, don't worry. they will be in dorset together when they are K2.

will anyone consider additional english and mandarin class(mainly train up their speaking) after study in K1,I am concerning KV doesn't have enough language environment. can u share if u 've got some good course outside

Yes, I am concern my son is not enought to learn english in KV. Have anyone ma to give advice.

my son is studying in learning habitat now and he is attending an english playgroup once a week, i will continue his english playgroup and will let him attend one more phonic class half year later, the course teacher is an american and his shop is in whampoa garden, so if the place is not too far from u you may consider.

I live in hunghom and the course is in whampoa garden near the park n shop, so u may consider if u live in hunghom.

我應該都會親自帶埋囡囡(Natalie)去學校. 可以話俾佢知明年就會在這樣讀書, 有個印象ma.
我今日打去學校問過啦, 佢地話可以遲D先交校車費,但遲D就會可能冇位. 因為我地住青衣都諗住坐校車, 所以我都諗住交埋先. 不過學校就話冇得refund.

My son, Ambrose also accepted to Kent PM class (we only choose PM class because we live in Tai Po). We are very happy, and would be pleased to take the offer.

I'm also delighted to join this thread and want to keep in touch with every parents of KV here.

Since KV is less transparent (只要信, 不要問 somebody says), I think sharing from parents is important for us.

Hope every kids here would have a cheerful and wonderful early school life.

我都建議先報校車, 雖然早兩年我第一次註冊都無即時報. 但今年的校車位真的好爆. 亞囡今年K2, 她同學仔舊年學期尾無留位, 開學初想報, 學校都話滿晒, 要waiting. 除非有人退學/ 搬屋......等了兩個月, 都係無位, 要日日接送.

My son is going to Jolly Kingdom now, for leaning phonics. Besides, can also learn PTH there. His response in phonics class is good, and now the ratio is still very low (1 or 2 students in class), so he absorb quite well. Will let him to continue and source some others as well, beause I know KV is not strong in Eng, so we need to give some supplement.

My son (Bosco) also accepted in Dorest Crescent Road K1 am. His brother also in Dorest Crescent Road K2H. So I am very happy, Bosco can follow his brother go to school together on next year.

all 09-10KV mama, if u got accept from KM or HKPS, will up give up KV? I　love the language environment in KM　HKPS a lot (international class). but I　am worry the primary distribution is not easy as KV. That's the only reason I would choose KV. if u accept by both? how would u choose.

I decide to choose KV. 以下係從BK收集到對KV意見。

KV 係數學方面比 HKPS & SC 強很多。

好既英文補習係外面好易揾, 但中文同數學相對無咁多.

我揀KV係一心想幫個仔打好個底, 加埋佢既性格夠定, 獨立同吸收快, 所以我覺得KV岩佢多d.

我聽聞KV的學術水平真係唔錯,
同埋紀律 train得好好﹐KV的小朋友大多很文靜,
學校要小朋友好乖咁坐定定

KV讀過既小朋友真係好有禮貌及有規矩﹐聽聞話KV所學到既野令人感意外既,如k1已學到五大洲,七大洋

怕再讀埋活動教學上小學會追唔上.因為英文比較容易响出面幫到.所以KV應該係我嘅選擇.

KV - traditional school, no outings, start writing in K1 (so no problem with 'big' kid), good for parents that don't have time to study with kids as the school will train the kids to do their homeworks by themselves.

問過現就讀KV既朋友,佢地都認為kv既老師有佢地對小朋友既一套,佢地覺得在校既老師都好nice,小朋友都讀得好開心,可能大家都比老師面試果日既急趕樣子嚇怕左姐

無錯! kv的確有自己教學方法, 同出面學校係唔同, 好似我個仔而家讀k2教緊心算, 我都唔知佢點計出嚟, 但佢又計到, 仲唔係慢喎. 好多朋友都話佢好勁.
中文都係好勁, 已經識好多中文字.
妮間學校d學生係比較靜, 連玩滑滑梯都係唔講得嘢架, 所以你話係咪靜呀!
