Hi moms and dads,

Are there DSS直資 which use English and Putonghua as media of instruction, but no Cantonese?

Or IS is the only alternative if I only want English and Putonghua for my kids?

As far as I know, Pui Kiu College, St. Margaret, Choi Kai Yau (Po Leung Kuk Private) but I am sure other parents can tell you more. Or may be you will find more information on the Local Primary section. But what'z wrong with Cantonese? Just curious....

Thanks for your post. Sorry for not being clear: there is absolutely nothing wrong about Cantonese. The issue is my kids can't speak the language. (They understand my conversational Cantonese though.) Their native languages are English and Mandarin (Putonghua) because they grow up and go to bilingual IS overseas.

I want them to go to P1 in Hong Kong but don't quite know what the options are!

TSL, ISF or VSA maybe your choice. But ISF and VSA are private schools instead of DSS.

Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School

You can consider Kingston International school which uses english and mandarin as a medium of instruction.

Someone suggested Baptist Wong Kam Fai but as far as I know it uses Cantonese most of the time.

Hi Cherriemum, do you know more about this school (Kingston)?? How's their K1 classes?? Is it good?? I know they have primary school as well. I cannot find any comment about it. Pls. share. Thank you.
