P1 allocation- Marymount Primary, my daughter on the list. Also got the confirmation from St. Paul's Convent Primary.... which one is better??

You're so lucky, got accepted by both esteem schools.

In my opinion, both are good schools. However I'll incline a bit on St. Paul's Convent as the academic achievement of its secondary school is better than Marymount.

Difficult choice...
In my own thinking, my daughter will easily get used to St.Paul as she is now studying in the nursery....and can get straight through to secondary school. Marymount, new campus, good environment. Students look more prestige, better english... only my impression. But no guarantee to secondary school....

Any comment? Or anything i should consider. Not much time left.

Dear Woody toy,

My girl is in P1 now in SPC. I can say the "through train" is really a big concern for us (of course you should fulfil the conditions) because the government school is not full controlled by school and scheme is always changing. we don't want the kids' future was driven by different scheme. Besides, the overall academic result is better but I found is harder in SPC when I compare to my friend. Actually, I will choose the continunity and if you want to pay or not. Both of them are good school. No regret whichever you choose.

I found most of the BK mommy & friends vote for SPC.

I was told that there is no exam & test in Marymount in the first 3 years, is that true?

There is no exam but they have test in P1 to P3!

Both schools are good and their standards are more or less even. If I were you, I would choose the one free - MaryMount Primary.

Both are very good schools but I will choose Marymount as we don't have to pay so much.
