肯定有，唔只呢幾間的名單會有overlap，明天自行放榜後會有人放棄，仲有d學校要12月先放榜。

我未同我仔講，佢依家同周公傾緊計，睇下佢會吾會問啦，佢吾問，我吾講架喇，我知佢都好大壓力，而且佢見學校時，已經盡左力，佢一直都表現得好好好好。無論結果點，我仔都係我既最大驕傲，做到佢媽媽，係我既光榮。

依家我好懇請其他父母做左決定之後，可以放番ｄ位出黎，苦等既落魄，絕對係痛心至極。

其實雖然亞仔唔得, 但我真喺覺得佢好叻仔, 因為, 我估唔到佢自己有preference (當然喺YW), 佢仲努力去克服自己, 努力爭取! 我地見到佢有進步, 有長大, 相信喺最大得著!
點都好, 我同老公會為亞仔繼續爭取!

我仔都係話自己想入英華，而且佢都好有信心，事實當然事與願違，但入到３００，我都好希望佢會補中。我仔同我講，如果真係無學校收，佢都吾會吾開心，所以佢都希望媽媽吾好吾開心。

唉，好希望佢 waiting list 既學校中，有好消息啦。

I was quite disappointed as well cos' my son was not admitted, but that feeling only lasted for a very short while.

Don't worry!  There are still chances in other schools ... I will give up the offers from TSL and Kowloon Rhenish.  I am sure that others will give up places in these two schools and Ying Wa when they have better offers.

I am still hoping that my son can get in Ying Wa if others are giving up their places there.  Luck plays a big part in this game.  Fingers crossed.  Let's move on and deal with everyday's challenges by each day.

So, cheer up!  When we look back in 10 years time, there is nothing for us to regret for our son cos' they are always the best in our eyes and we have done our best for them :)

Instead of avoiding the matter, I would rather take this good opportunity to teach my son how to handle failures in a positive way.  It is a lesson for my son and myself to learn.  I would tell my son along this line: "You have given your best shot and I am proud of you.  But we have to understand that things may not happen the way we wish sometimes.  All we need to do is to try our best, the rest is for God to decide (I don't have a religion).  There is nothing wrong with your performance or ability but the teachers are simply facing a difficult choice in choosing the right candidates to study in their school given the limited no. of places.  As long as you have a good learning attitude, you will be just as good in other schools."  I would probably give my son a big feast and reward him for his effort in the entire interview game.

Another thought for sharing: most successful persons in this world had a lot of setbacks in their childhood or teenage.  So, failing to get into our "dream school" is no indication of our son's future success.  Who knows another school is not just another good or better school for our son.  It could also pave the way for our son's future prospect and success just the same way (bigger success even).

Let's share more and support each other here.

我之前都同老公講,一定有書讀就唔駛驚,就算真係間間都唔收政府都一定派學校比你,派得唔好米等小二插班,唔好咁緊張,一切都整定我地咩都做唔到,做左自己本份後唯有慢慢等結果,所以放鬆D啦

很多謝你的分享, 昨晚看到yw自己無份, 很失望, 一直以來,雖然知道競爭好大, 但也感到當日2nd in時囝囝的表現相當好, 我和daddy也不太差, 因此有些期望. 昨晚也睡得不好, 總在回想interview時的片段, 究竟問題是出在哪裡? 我相信自己可能要一兩天時間去消化這次的失望！！　
我很欣賞你打算向囝囝用這次經驗作為寶貴的人生經驗．Very very positive. 很值得參考！積極去在逆境中，找尋其中的寶藏．有這樣的父母，你囝囝無論在哪裡讀書，將來都必定成功．因為家庭教育是無可替代的．

我是信教的．我也相信天父自有祂對囝囝的計劃．我想你的分享沒有版權吧？我也想借用你的方法，向囝囝面對這次經驗！

另外，想問一問，是否不被取錄的，都一定是waiting list呀？

大家努力呀，今日唔知明天的事．相信天父必為我們的囝囝預備最適合他們的學校．

也恭喜１５０名被取錄的小朋友．

For whose not accepted, please don't disappointed. I think seats will be released as somebody got other offers.

妳們的孩子有一個如此愛他們的媽媽, 將來不論在那所學校讀, 都一定會學有所成的

如果真的喜歡英華, 千萬不要放棄, 相信遲些 (特別是DBSPD放榜後,) 一定會有位置空出來的!

We are all the greatest mums in the world and we will do all that we could for our kids. As a mum, I guess the most we ask for is our kids' health and happiness. Academic prospect and excellence only come second. I am sure that we can all stand up in adversity. Add oil!!!! Hooray!

I do not know if everyone who can get into the 2nd round but fail in the end is put on the waiting list. I guess the letter which we will be receiving from Ying Wa would have more info on this. But I heard that we should have an advantage over those who could not get as far as the 2nd round when competing for "knocking door places". I have already written to the school reiterating our eagerness for our son to study there. You may wish to send them a "knocking door letter" as well.

Share with you a story

A K3 students is on the waiting list of DSS A.  His father never forgive, keep sending letters to that school and looking for a second chance.  In July, eventually his son has the offer. They are so happy coz they never forgive and very focus on one school.

This hard working father shared his story to us about 2 years ago at the sharing session @ KG.

I still remember he said never doubt your son's ability.  There is always yes but.  Keep trying

Agree!! DBSPD放榜後, 會有唔少位出,佢地d客源幾相近,而我相信若兩間都報又被取碌的話,多數會揀DBSPD.
